Quick list addressing concerns and speculation.
Ohms reading is off by .1 on higher builds. My 1.1 reads as 1 my .5 reads as .5
Voltage is accurate, I got a reading of 5.48v screen displayed 5.5v
Definitely DC-DC
Its Anodized aluminum
Zero lag coming from sleep
Feels solid not top heavy with kayfun
Screen is brighter
Screen has 120sec timeout (same as DNA20) not the DNA30 60sec timeout.
Screws suck
Stealth and Right/left mode work correctly
No LED hole for charging light but you can see it in screen when it's asleep and near the usb plug
Dumps battery voltage when fired under 4v but displays what it would need to fire at to achieve watts although it IS NOT bucking down. Ohms will blink when it's fired out of voltage range.

I can confirm it does not. It displays watts/ohms/volt screen
Illvapes sounds really confidence in this letter. Hopefully, the red color will be shipped out on Monday.

I have a question for those with an actual device. How does it compare to bottom feeder box mods like the Reo Grand or Woodville or Phidias? Size, weight, comfort in hand, that sort of stuff. Or even a comparison to the MVP V2.0 would be helpful.

Maybe it was a delay to give them time to produce the mods but in the end improvements were made based on the test units that got shipped out. So a win all around...

I only have a mvp 2, mvp is slightly taller (not including ego connection ) , clone is slightly wider. Without having a scale they feel about the same weight with 18650 installed, if anything I would say clone is lighter. Feels comfortable in hand comparable to mvp except clone button placement is better. Also side note use on front instead of bottom is a lot better design imo.
i truly hope good things for them on the lawsuit front and that they can follow through and get the clones out to the ones who are still ordering from them... but i just couldn't do it anymore, they dropped the ball to many times from a customers stand point. first impressions are everything and this is my first time ordering anything from them so i have no obligations to be "loyal", think of it this way.. my experience with them was soooo bad, i felt the need to cancel and order from a vendor thats in new york (elev8) that would deliver to me in california... which illvapes is also from, technically like an hour away from me depending on traffic.
To add to this short protection works displays shorted rather than a reset

Fergie, if you still have the option, allow them a chance to fulfilled their order.. I was always patience with them, but truthfully reading this thread did made me feel uncomfortable which made me order from Elev8 Vape this morning. I could always canceled from them. I don't need two clone now. Good luck to you.

Hey bro, I do understand your situation, and the bad experience you had with them, which lead to the departure. It seems this thread cornered you, even dictated your decision. I also do hope wish Illvapes will overcome the lawsuit. I don't want Hana to win at all, as they already ripped off many of their customer.

Thing is I'm doubtful they will ship them. I ordered 2 from them and just got a runaround every time I asked anything.I finally asked them to refund both or I would do a charge back, to which they haven't replied. Same thing over and over, ask a question and they come out with a general email like they just sent out.
I also ordered 1 from Elev8 due to all the delays. If Illvapes can come through with 1 I'd be happy so I can give one to my brother.
I'll wait until Monday though, hard to say what will happen.
Illvapes is in the middle of a suit by Hana and in the email they say "the DNA 30 Box Mod" all we need now is to hear from Evolve
I'm still supporting illvapes through it all. Though this thread may have caused a massive amount of chargebacks and cancellations, I'm still gonna stick it out n get my order. I did order another dna30 thru wetvapes, ships out today. So that's exciting
I can Guarantee you my friend that an authentic DNA does not fire immediately from wake up.
