Let me clear the air on why this is guys, dna20 originally fired nearly right away however it would flash "check battery or weak battery because after it goes to sleep then awoken from that state it needs a second to fill the battery bar back up and read properly then the error goes away. Evolvs answer to this was to add the evolv splash screen on wake up with the dna30 giving the battery bar a second to catch up and not display an error. So I ask this, does the clone flash check battery or weak battery if fired right away when the battery is getting below half power?

No. Screen is instantly bright indicating fire button is pressed. About 1/3 battery life left

I did not know that. I have only had my clone for a couple of hours so the battery is still pretty full. I will let you know.
I have seen "weak battery" display on my dna30 when firing at higher wattages with a pretty full battery. I just thought it was a dna30 quirck after reading some of the threads.

Short of the screws and 120sec timeout it is better. Not to mention the $180 price difference

I got a sample unit from alibaba. I didn't do one of the buys through a US vendor.

The guy at hufflepuffvapes got another sample with THICKER neg/pos wiring and some epoxy mix in with still some hot glue - I wonder if that will be the norm from here on out with these or just units made for him? I did see a picture of his sample and that would be sweet if it goes that direction...

Yes, it reads correctly. I have compared it to my multimeter and also my Maxa. All three are reading the same thing.

Gotta wonder if the logos on the stickers and screen were removed as per vendor requested revisions or just an early model feature as per the manufacturer.

I just hope wetvapes has the latest ones not the ones from Alibaba... But I'll know on Tuesday. If it says hana modz then hopefully it won't have the issues the early ones did.

Mine was from Shenzhen Bihaifu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Like I've said, so far, I totally dig it. Only complaint that I have is the adhesive. I have a spare, authentic, DNA 30 on my dresser just in case I didn't like the chinese chip. But I think I'm just going to build a dual 18650 dna box with it.
