I beg to differ. I believe the vast majority of people bought these because they were 70 bucks for 30 watts. As a mech mod user, i wanted something cheap as to not cut into the mod budget, but sub ohming at .22 i needed all the watts i can get my hands on. It was either this or the 7 22, and this box didn't require me buying new 26 series batteries.

I never cared about hana, dna or any of these companies being involved, i just pre ordered an aluminum battery holder with a screen that says it goes to 30.

I agree. Way back I said I was looking for a box mod and I wanted to try a DNA 30 and what I meant by that was the "functionality" of a DNA 30. It didn't matter if it was an actual DNA 30.

And by the by, I'm vaping my black Anah from 101vape right now, still with a 2.4ohm Vivi Nova tank and I LOVE it! This thing is sweet! All of you are going to be very happy when you get yours! Even if you have to wait an extra couple weeks for your color, it will be well worth it.

I just don't think yours should be compared to ones being shipped out now. Might not even be coming out of same factory

Mine was from Shenzhen Bihaifu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Like I've said, so far, I totally dig it. Only complaint that I have is the adhesive. I have a spare, authentic, DNA 30 on my dresser just in case I didn't like the chinese chip. But I think I'm just going to build a dual 18650 dna box with it.

IMG_20140523_131318_936.jpg All this stuff about IllVape has been outrageous. But just to make sure I decided to take a drive out to the B&M today. It's a nice shop, not small and not large. A very new business (less than 1 year) with a couple of partners and a couple of employees - a small business very typical of most vape shops.

They are friendly, helpful, and I was offered a few unsolicited tips about building a RBA. A couple of their regular customers came in and had nothing but good things to say about ILLVAPES.

Something like this has to be something very hard for a small business to handle, let alone dealing with rational (OMG my money) and patient (I've sent ten emails in two day type of patient), along those tolerant types.

They are extremely busy trying to get through everything they have to do and run the normal everyday B&M business - so have a little patience and cut them some slack like many did for the businesses that were affected by the fires out here.

I can tell you without a doubt they have every intention of shipping the clones as soon as possible and are doing the best they can to meet the customers' needs. They are honest folks, running an honest business, just trying to make a living at doing something they like! I was impressed and have added another vape shop to the few I do business with!

Footnote: Until today I have never met anyone that has anything to do with the business or ever set foot in the B&M.

Illvapes is the worst vendor ever. They knew about the law suit since may 16th and never said anything to anyone. They only talked about it after we all found out about what's going on. They've been changing answers every day. Honesty is not their policy. Making money scamming, is.

I only have a mvp 2, mvp is slightly taller (not including ego connection ) , clone is slightly wider. Without having a scale they feel about the same weight with 18650 installed, if anything I would say clone is lighter. Feels comfortable in hand comparable to mvp except clone button placement is better. Also side note use on front instead of bottom is a lot better design imo.
Thanks, that's the sort of info that's useful to me since my fibromyalgia can make it very painful to hold any sort of mod on "bad days."

Hey bro, I do understand your situation, and the bad experience you had with them, which lead to the departure. It seems this thread cornered you, even dictated your decision. I also do hope wish Illvapes will overcome the lawsuit. I don't want Hana to win at all, as they already ripped off many of their customer.

are you saying im naive and impressionable? get it right, true this thread talked about illvapes and not always in the best of light but the only thing i took away from any of the things said referring to illvapes from this thread are the updates through personal emails people received that i wouldn't have known otherwise because THEY RARELY UPDATED THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE PRE ORDER. my reasons for being frustrated and cancelling are stemmed from my own personal interactions with them or lack there of most of the time, even until the very end i was frustrated. after days of emails for a refund they finally respond only to try to either buy more time or push me towards changing my color so they can keep my account.

it wasn't until i threatened them with a charge back that they finally took me serious and gave me a refund right away, the disclaimer stated that i can get a refund anytime during the pre order... it did not say what a pain in the ... it was going to be. those are my reasons for cancelling and those are my reasons for not ordering anything again from illvapes... they made an already stressful pre order even more stressful. now i can sit back relax and wait for my clone to get in from elev8 because i knwo i have nothing to worry about with them because they've proven themselves time and time again.

there's a lot more to talk about illvapes that paints them in a negative light like what truthhurts mentioned above, that did affect us because what happened? shipments stopped and no one got their clones, but they didn't think to tell us until we spammed their FB. i would have cancelled earlier and been in line earlier with a new vendor if i knew, but thats not what happened was it
