If I would have put the battery in wrong, it would not have even turn on, much less fire. So really we can account this for three things
1. not human error
2. wet vapes did test the second unit and it was working, for a bit

Which company? Are you sure the attys are making contact with the 510? I know with my russian 91 there is a spring pin that can read the resistance incorrectly. Also the adjustable pin for the r 91 can move the + post to create a short if screwed in too tight.

i used an aerotank and a kayfun clone, aero fired for a bit kayfun didn't
mehhh whatever... maybe you would have more luck with an EGO-twist
Just got mine in. Looks good. Saw a bit of hot glue spider strings on the outside. The screws came out no problem. Seems to be working great! I'm wondering if it's painted or anodized. I'm no pro but kinda looks like paint dimples.

that cute, really but without making into a huge flame war, the facts are we all knew going into this we were buying 1st run on a clone with some major electronic components. We all started to see some chips in the paint of this perfect picture we all had about these clones, sadly mine didn't work, it happens.
I ordered through illvapes and I was told mine would ship out the week after next, given that they get the notorious "green light." Had to change to a black one to get it, too, but I'm thinking about building a DNA30 box mod from a Hammond 1590A. I'll get my blue DNA then!

I just kind or replicated this. But it essentially required me to hit the button 5x there is a time limit that you have to click 5x within. Im not sure how long that timeframe is. It seems to be if it is clicked 5x within that time it will unlock. It might be a long timeframe. Like 6 seconds. So if I click 2x. Wait 3 seconds for it to turn off. Then click 3x again in another few seconds it will fire on the 5th click. Try it out. play around with that idea and see if that helps you replicate it.

you are right, it could be human error on the people making the units. and like i said i was only going to agree with what everyone said about the units so far, as in paint, manufacturing, the way the clone chips were flashed, etc etc, i just find it funny ya'll think im trolling now.
you're right. there's no possible way it was error on your part. a new vaper never makes mistakes.
By having the two wired in a parallel the battery pack is able to have the amperage necessary for 30 watts. This is done in laptop batteries all the time, and then the pairs are wired in a series to bring it up to the desired voltage. Really a better setup than just one.

open box, unscrew screw from back side, put in a vtc4 positive side to positive post, and negative side to negative post, screw in kayfun, says short, screw in aerotank, fire vape and repeat, set down unit, ????, smoke from unit.

I also noticed the device actualy locks and fires from the lock on the 5th click... not the click after the 5th.
