I have a Clouper clone

Can't duplicate the two click unlock, locked device. But mine does unlock with four clicks.

LED Charging light (no light port) - While charging I took the cover off and there is a fairly bright red light while charging but is stayed red and gradually dimmed to a very dim red when charged - never turned green.

The clone measures at 25.9 x 47.2 x 89.5mm, the atomizer indent on the top is right at 23mm. Weighs in at 124 grams, 4 3/8 ounces without a battery. Sony VTC4 and 5 batteries both fit tight.

Russian 91% v2 with floating pin, Kayfun Light Plus v2, Nautilus and each of my six RDA all work without issue. I've had issues with more than one not working on a few mods.

I'm guessing the finish is anodized with a sealer on it, the finish nearly matches a Manhattan mech mod, except the clone is finger print magnet.

I checked a couple of RDAs on a Fluke Multi-Meter for two builds, one at .78 and the other at .59 ohms.

The .78 ohm at 23.0 watts build read .7 ohms and 4.3 volts on the Evolve dna 30 device and .7 ohms and 4.0v on the clone

The clone could be from 22.2 - 23.0 watts at 4.0v before the ohm reading would quite flashing - it was not consistent from vape to vape

The Evolve DNA 30 could go down to 15.6 watts and 3.6 volts before the flashing ohms but also had some variability that I could not lock down - sometimes as low as 15.2 watts and 3.5 volts

The RDA at .59 ohm read .6 ohm and 3.7v on Evolve DNA 30 and .5(flashing) and 3.4v on the clone at 21 watts. I had to set the clone to 29.5 watts before the ohm reading quit flashing. Both had some variability as well but I did not play enough to lock down numbers - more interested in just vaping
Thank you for all of the info!

So what is your overall impression in comparing just the chip performance to an authentic DNA

not sure if that's a defect in the box or uneven paint?

x2 I also look forward to hearing how you feel the clone compares to the real deal. That's strange about the charging light. Mine just turned to green after it was fully charged.

Received my unit from 101 today and after a couple hours playing with it, i'm pretty impressed.

No real issues to speak of (even the screws were fine).

It is definitely anodized and not paint even though there is a very very slight 'orange peel' effect on the battery door.

Well worth the money and the wait, really enjoying it.

well I guess they at hana forgot to put that in my mod.i KNEW I was getting ripped off...how n the heck do ya kno if it fully charged???crap I have a junk hana...I just cant use it if I don't kno when its fully charged!!!lemme see a pic of your real hana with the lil.5mm hole jus to the left of the charge port!if thiers no pic then it aint happenin!

It's not the screen that changes color. There is a hole approximately .5mm just to the left of the USB port on the real Hana with a LED behind it that illuminates red when charging and goes off when it is full.

At 3.3v battery bar was empty so decided to give it a full charge. Stopped charging at 4.26

The battery icon on my clone showed empty at 3.6 volts. I'm not going to charge for awhile to see where I get the "check battery" message. I will be checking the battery regularly with a multimeter. I'm just satisfying my own curiosity.

Here are some issues I am having with my clone so far: I don't have it yet in my hands to vape on... lol

I don't think you'll be disappointed. I'm loving mine. I'm hoping cloupor makes a mini version that takes an 18500, or better yet one that is just slightly bigger that the original hana mini and still uses an 18650.

Mine looks just like it. Idk if that is anodized or painted. Ocelot can you confirm?

That is unquestionably paint.

The aluminum showing on the seems and corners is a dead giveaway. Anodizing is done by submerging the box in the liquid and then applying an electrical current to the metal. It's going to evenly cover the whole surface including the inside and even inside the screw holes. The anodized coating will only be a couple of microns thick, no more than 8 microns, not nearly thick enough to leave an orange peel effect.

That is paint.

Ano can have texture. It can even look blotchy but it wont have runs, over spray and all the tell tale signs of paint.

Anodizing only has a texture if it's applied over a textured surface. You're thinking of powder coating, not anodizing.

Anodizing, if done properly, is never more than 8 microns thick, about 1/10th the thickness of a human hair.

No I am not thinking of powder coat.
Lets just say I have a little experience with milspec typeIII ano.

To be clear, I was not trying imply ano creates texture.

I only recently saw the back plate pic on my phone and from what I can see here that DOES look like paint.

Yet people keep saying they have ano.

So maybe they painted over some logos?
Maybe they have both finishes or maybe some folks just dont the difference at all.
