I don't have an authentic dna so I really don't know. Is it in fact firing the 4.1v? Sounds to me like it's coded to handle that load differently.

The authentic was prodicing more vapor which led me to believe the dna is somehow stepping up the voltage.
That is my thought which raises the question, are these more accurate now than the dna's?
In the long run who cares... so far great device.

I am sure someone with both devices and more expertise, will be able to compare better than I have.

Alot of stuff can effect what you are asking and I would only be guessing at this point as I have no clone.... that's why SOMEBODY needs to hook up the clone and a true dna device to a scope and meters and see how they match up..... pbusardo did some comparison reviews using the dna vs. other mods and included graphs, scope results, etc. but I don't recall what the readings were at lower voltages....

Curly is thinking along the same lines as I....there may be a coding issue... remember the clone coding was changed and how does that effect the voltage calculation? And the accuracy of the dna charts of pbusardo may answer the variance of the shark at lower voltages... I'm gonna revisit pbusardo after the B-Ball game...

I don't know what to believe anymore Phillip. They're showing photos of packages to be shipped out on FB.
My status is still "Awaiting Fulfillment" , no replies to my emails about cancelling. I was willing to give them a chance and still am sort off...

I just checked their Facebook page. Those picture gave me a sigh of relief. I think your package are in one of those boxes :mail:

I was a huge Newport smoker. Do you think this custom wrap for my blue mod would be too "controversial" or weird?
FYI- this is just a rough drawing I made for concept.

Just got a reply to my email:

Sorry it didn't work out, we'll issue a refund within the next 48
hours and you should expect to see the money back into your account
within 5-10 business days.

Think I'll see what Wetvapes has in stock. Good luck Philip. :)

lot17ss....

Here is pbusardo vid's that may help ya with the shark part of your question....shows how the dna 20 and 30 performs at various voltages as compared to theoretical values....... need the same for the clone to answer that part...

Tbh idk if pbusardo will review this... He does almost exclusively legit, not saying he doesn't do clones. He's off for the summer and there's a poop storm of Chinese 30watt devices hitting the market. By the end of the summer these Cloupor boxes will pass as new things come out. Yes they're great and I love it, but it is the nature of the industry, these amazing devices might not be so amazing when "tomorrow's" tech hits...

Also IMHO, I'd only consider it controversial if you had like Elmo, or another kids character on it, I know of a juice company that used the captain crunch guy, you can have crunch berry flavor but don't put a character associated with something marketed to kids on it with this whole fda thing in the works

yep... always something new around the corner.....high tech when I started was a mech mod with a 18350 battery made in England and a 3 ohm dripping atomizer in a carto tube....no variable wattage at all much less variable wattage...

Video from 2009.....

Ok so i know this has been talked about but I am giving an example. .7 ohm @ 22w. It is flashing because its below 4v. Can someone tell me what is actually happening. Am I not getting 22 Watts? My vaporshark is actually showing 4.1v when I fire.

My point is that the clone is more accurate. What gives?

Using a .69 build on the CNA and VaporShark DNA 30 (VSDNA)

CNA30 shows
.7 ohm, 22 watts, 3.7 volts, actually pushing 3.62 volts (ohms were flashing)

VSDNA shows
.6 ohm, 22 watts, 3.9 volts, actually pushing 3.77 volts

(@25.7 watts is where the CNA30 ohms quit flashing)

CNA30 shows
.6 ohm, 25.7 watts, 4.0 volts, actually pushing 3.83 volts

VSDNA shows
.7 ohm, 25.7 watts, 4.4 volts, actually pushing 4.29

Hence my remarks yesterday you will not get the same vape experience at the same settings on the CNA compared with the DNA.

Added note: I should have noted that both batteries were fully charged showing 4.1 volts just berfore I started this.

So both of these are not simply providing the raw voltage from the battery when settings fall below 4.0 volts.

Like a box mod that can jump start your truck, fire a coil down to.000001 Ohms, and charge your notebook computer all at the same time.:p

I have been adjusting my CNA to taste (did this on purpose as an informal test) and have found that on all my subohm builds, I increased the wattage by .5-.9 watts to get the same flavor and vape experience. However with 2 of my RBA's (a Kayfun and an Expromizer) with builds at 1.75 and 2.2 Ohms respectively, I found the opposite - I ended up lowering the wattage by .4-.7 for the same vape and flavor experience compared to my Vaporshark.

Well just unboxed my cna30 from 101vape and im glad i only paid $70 for it. just ran it through the paces comparing it to my original hana v3 and cosmetically its spot on the 510 connector is even straighter. but thats where the similarities end. i have 6 attys 4 kayfuns and 2 rda's stillare clone @.5 and a original zenith v2 @.4ohms. the kayfuns are 1.1 and one of them is 1.2 on my hana i vape the kayfuns @ 12.7 watts the rda's @30watts. the cna30 at 12.7 watts only read one of the kayfuns the same ohms the other 3 were .1 lower all 4 of my kayfuns @ 12.7 watts vape regulated ohms not flashing and from 3.8 to 4 volts. none of them regulate on the cna30 ohm meter flashing on all 4. now on to the rda's the stillare on the hana dna30 @.5 30 watts is regulated ohm meter not flashing 4.1 volts. on the cna30 its unregulated @ 30 watts ohm meter flashing shows .5 ohms @3.8 volts now the zenith v2 @ 30 watts on the hana shows .4 ohms regulated not flashing @3.8 volts, on the cna30 @30 watts shows .4 ohms unregulated ohm meter flashing 3.3 volts. i was using sony vtc5 in both mods the one in the hana was about half charged cuz i was vaping that one all day. cna30 was using a freshly charged one. a little disappointed to say the least! again glad i only paid $70 for it. hope this helps. the vape seems the same on both so maybe its just inaccurate i dont know. kinda bummed.

it also changes watts setting by .1 down almost every time it wakes up, and some times takes 2 button pushes to fire. in my opinion this chip wasnt ready for market they rushed it due to hype.

So I got my black CNA mod from WetVapes today. First off, this thing feels solid! Put a 1.7 ohm dripper on there and fired it at about 28 watts and it is cranking! Using my Kayfuns which were all built from 1.1-1.3 ohms, it works great as well. I like one particular one for this mod which I have set to 15.2 watts. Seems to read ohms correctly, and if I was to change to anything that it would need to fire at 3.9V it will blink and just dump battery power unregulated as everyone said it would.

Couple things I notice.

Screen does come on sometimes randomly.
Sometimes it does need one click to wake it up then one to fire
Sometimes it fires straight out of sleep
Wattage has randomly changed .1 down. IT seems as though it only goes .1 watt down when it needs the two clicks to come from sleep mode.

Otherwise this thing is a beast. My 510 connection is NOT crooked, the back panel fits great, the black finish is awesome, overall I am super happy. Reinforces the fact I would never have paid 250 for a real one, but I love this thing for 80 or so bucks.

Full size provari, CNA, and a Nemesis hybrid mode in 350 for size comparison shots.
