I am charging mine I got today from wetvapes. The light is red right now. The battery was already fresh off charger. I only used it for 20 minutes or so. Just testing to see if the LED turns Green.

Keep us posted please!

I told Raj from Wet Vapes about this issue on Saturday. And it's still written on his site that they turn green.

I think it is the same chip, as stated earlier in the thread, it appears the chips are coming from a single vendor. It could just be different usb boards or they just didn't use a bi-color led, but I cannot see through all the glue to tell. Or it could be some actually have issues. I will do some charge testing tonight or tomorrow on a fresh pair of vct5's and compare charge voltage termination. To be honest as long as it terminates properly I don't really care if it does not turn green. Would be nice if the chip would display battery voltage though. Hell even a vamo does this.

Vapemail today! So glad I waited patiently for the green. It's beautiful!

The one I posted a picture with the light green was from Elev8, I'm charging the one from WetVapes now but it will be quite awhile before it, if it will, turn green.
I think it did before but I'm not sure.
I got myself confused here, the wife's Cana is still the one from WetVapes only the batteries were swapped.
Here's where it gets interesting, if charging on cell phone charger the red light goes out but no green light, plug it into my computer USB and same Cana's light turns green. ???

Let me just add here that when the one from WetVapes did turn green charged from computer it(green) was much harder to see than the one from Elev8.

Whaaaaaaat? This is getting interesting. So far my new one has been on the charger for an hour after my nitecore said it was done. Still no green light...and the red light is just as intense as it was before. No dimming like on my previous busted clone from Wet Vapes.

Doing a spreadsheet experiment now on the 1 click 2 click issue.
will report back when i have something conclusive.

Thanks .. been trying to duplicate since I got mine. How many vapes and so forth. Possible temp level getting close to limit. I am running out of ideas.

I can live with some inaccurate Ohms and voltages, as I don't subohm and I don't need more than 10W anyway. But two-click firing is a dealbreaker for me. I am somewhat confused by the posts on the clicks and I hope someone can clarify. If I understand correctly, the clones will fire with one click as long as the display is lit (2 min?). But when the display goes dark, it needs a click to activate the screen and a second click to actually fire? That's crazy and that kills it for me.

But then I hear people say they don't see that behavior at all or that it takes a real long time for the double-click phenomenon to manifest itself. How long is that? Is this stuff reproducible and if so, can the mod be used so a double-click is not required?

Finally, is this double-click behavior also present in Evolv DNAs? What about the HCigar mods? If so, those are also out in my book. I'm just confused as to what to expect if and when I get one of these.

The 2 click at this point is random. Time asleep is not a factor on mine. Something else is triggering it. I think the people that first get their unit just haven't had it long enough to experience it.Therefore one might think it takes a while before it starts acting up IMO.

Let me ask. Has anyone used the unit over a week and not had the problem?

lets see if we can test these on various amp chargers. Perhaps a 500ma, 1A, and 2.1A lets see if we can test on different chargers to see if that affects the lights status

Some say this 2 click is normal- 1 click to wake, 2nd click to fire. Supposedly designed that way to prevent unintentional firing, I would guess. But although I've only owned mine about 6 hours now, I seem to notice if I keep holding the fire button for a few seconds on wake up, it will start to fire.
Can anyone verify THIS behavior?
