Let me run this thought by you guys...

The original clone version would display hana modz on the display when coming out of sleep. That was changed so the hana modz was no longer displayed. Is it possible that the routine is still looking for that code (to display hana modz) and when it can't find it it times out thus pressing the button again lets it fire since it no longer is asleep?

Just a thought... I know nothing about code...

If that were the case I think it would do it every time, not just sometimes. Mine seems to be random. I have no explanation.

Its a good idea, but if that were true, I wouldn't be able to fire it with one click some of the time.

I said that once in this thread also. Mine has the screen display and fires first press. Don't know how the non display ones are acting as I don't have one.

Received Green one Elv8. Using it all day... Not yet quite the fan of the "bb" fire button but over all I feel it is a nice well built mod and worthy of the 70 bucks. I notice with this one the screen stays lit for about a minute...and then seems to go to "sleep" around 3 or 4 minutes requiring two clicks to fire. Not real a big deal to me and I agree with other posters that intentional or not does provide a certain element of safety. (although it would be nice to disable this function) Also the red charging light dims but does not turn green after 4 hours on a 3/4 charged battery. Ill leave it plugged in over night to see if it is just a time issue.
The one odd think that surprised me was it waking up on its own. It's only happened once. Sitting at my desk with the mod on the monitor shelf in front of me...and the screen just woke up... waited a minute and went out on its own. (using Panny 18650PD's)

Other than that I'm quite pleased... the internals are nice and neat and the finish is a nice medium green with no noticeable flaws.

I'd agree if it happened every time. Since the original displayed Hana Modz every time coming from sleep. It's just so random.... And IT did NOT happen when I first got the clone. I even posted it fired right from sleep when I got it. It wasn't that I didn't notice it because I felt obligated to verify it did fire with one press from sleep. It's something that seems to have developed. I have an idea, will follow in next post because I don't remember users name

I have had it not show the screen on first click. Not all the time... but it does happen.

Hey if I remember correctly you no longer have the red cover on the back of yours. Would you mind firing it from the on board button you asked about before and see if you can replicate the two click from sleep with the on board button? Or anyone else who already removed the cover and willing to test it?

I think that was bound to happen. I couldn't understand why someone would want the clone with the logo, unless they had potentially bad intentions.

That's a pretty blanket statement maybe I can help you out.

1. When people are out in public they want other people to think they spent the $250 on a real hana and not $70 on a clone.
2.ill vapes were telling everybody that the clones with logo were better quality than the ones without.
3. Some people may actually like the logo.

That being said the people trying to pass the clones off as real Hana's sicken me and I hope they don't make a dime.

It's nonsense and they shouldn't, but they will, if they can sell pictures of stuff, they will sell a counterfeit hana to someone....

Some say this 2 click is normal- 1 click to wake, 2nd click to fire. Supposedly designed that way to prevent unintentional firing, I would guess. But although I've only owned mine about 6 hours now, I seem to notice if I keep holding the fire button for a few seconds on wake up, it will start to fire.
Can anyone verify THIS behavior?

Yes if you hold it it eventually fires.....I take a primer puff without releasing the button and it fires...... Every time!!!

I got myself confused here, the wife's Cana is still the one from WetVapes only the batteries were swapped.
Here's where it gets interesting, if charging on cell phone charger the red light goes out but no green light, plug it into my computer USB and same Cana's light turns green. ???

Perhaps a difference in USB specifications causes it.

Anyone have a USB 1.0, USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 port they can test it on? See if it's no green light on either the USB 1.5 or USB 2.0 and a green light on USB 3.0.

With cellphones and touchpads, if the voltage delivery isn't filtered correctly then it's not uncommon to have problems using the touchscreen while it's charging. (Especially iPads) This issue with the green light may be related to the same thing. It may not be a problem with the mod at all, it may simply be that the green light only works if the voltage delivery is correct which would be most likely on a proper USB3.0 port.

I'll add to that... it could also be they (china) are using two different charging circuit boards.... one turns green when charged and the other just dims when charged....

Spreadsheet results conclude that the time elapsed in sleepmode has no bearing on the 2 click issue.
Tested on 1 ohm coil at 30w - PANASONIC NCR18650PF - Clouper unit from Elev8vape
Tested at 10, 20, 30, 40 sec after entring sleepmode.
Allso tested with how many times i vape after exiting sleepmode.
Moore often i would get 2 clicks if i vaped 3 times after exiting sleepmode, while mostly getting 1 click after vaping 2 times exiting sleep mode.

USPS is circling the drain. Everything I order seems to have problems.
