3D looks good on top. I have the newer polished one coming (fingerprint magnet) hope it works right. :) Thanks for the heads up. Looks like you are doing a SC set up???
The Cana fired them stating 3.5 volts on it's display, around 0.5Ω

The kayfun mini is an original but a $14 FT one is on the way.

As far as this subject goes...
Initially I charged (Same battery, never changed it) off my printers usb port (I do this for almost all my inokin items with no problems) with a very short thin micro usb connector. The light didn't change but dimmed after charge. I then used a the micro usb cable for my mouse (its a logitech hybrid) connected to the usb 2.0 ports on my computer (off topic but my Cloupor just woke up by it's self again on it's own as I type this  ) anyway...red light still dimmed but no green. Finally with almost an empty battery I used the same cable on a 3.0 usb panel I installed in my puter that actually gets it's power straight from one of the 5v rails on the power supply...not from the motherboard.
After about 4 hours it did indeed turn green. I have no way to check the voltage from the different sources but I'm assuming the charging board needs just a few more Ma than most of the sources provide.

I now have it plugged into a USB 3.0 port. I'll report back in a while and let you know IF the light turns green. I'm not expecting it to since the current coming into the device is regulated to 500ma by the charging circuitry. I may eat my words, if I do I do. Wouldn't be the 1st time. (Or the last) lol

This is precisely what I said a couple of days ago.

I think the light only turns green if you're using a USB3.0 spec USB port or charger. I've now heard from 3 people who say they get green lights when charging from their PC but not when charging from wall warts.

Mine charges to green using my HTC phone wall charger haven't tried my computer I don't think I have USB 3.0 tho.

It absolutely is NOT passthrough.

I'm not sure you understand what passthrough charging is. If it was a true passthrough then you would be vaping off the USB current at the same time the battery charges. The current passes through the charger and on to the device.

That is not what happens in these clones. The USB port charges the battery. Period. No current from the USB port is passed beyond the battery. When you vape you are vaping exclusively from battery power, there is no passthrough charge from the USB port.

If you attempt to vape from the USB current you will burn up the chipset and ruin your mod.

I understand exactly what a passthrough device is.

I am referencing how most people reference what passthrough is, which is "vaping while it's plugged in." With the Cloupor you can as long as there is a battery installed, which means that to most peoples understanding of passthrough, for all PRACTICAL purposes, it's a passthrough device.

Mine is the version sold by Hot ECig ( Hot Technologies ).
Light turns green when charged on wall charger.

Has anyone found a decent replacement for the 510 center pin ?
That whole connection looks sketchy.
I've already reglued everything inside and re fitted the charging port so it actually stays in place.

Havent received it yet but i ordered the "hana v3 clone wrap"

I have received mine (clear carbon fiber for my green). It looks great. But it has one flaw. The back cover section is such that it needs to be trimmed a bit or it goes over the seam and taking the cover off necessitates removing part of the jwrap.

I just left it, resigning that it's likely I'll need a new wrap before I need to change my battery.

......... there were many vendors with original Hanas and also some with clones.... is a shame that HANA plays this game... keep buyers waiting for product on pre-orders when apparently they have plenty of units to fill those orders...... Terrible business practice from them....... Even if I could afford it Would not buy a unit from them. IMO they are a Nasty Company!!!

Exactly my point (and thoughts!)

It's all how the voltage is filtered.

Your PC will likely have the most reliable spec voltage output, be it 2.0 or 3.0 specs, the PC should filter the voltage right on spec. Cheap wall warts tend to do a bad job of filtering the voltage to the right specs. Higher quality wall warts should provide the proper voltage.

I think the Apple products show the difference the best. If you connect one to a cheap wall wart then it's not uncommon to have problems with the touchscreen working correctly while it's charging. Use the correct wall wart, or a PC USB port though, and everything works fine while it's charging.

I think this green light issue on these clones is related to the same thing. If voltage delivery is right on spec it turns green, if not, it only dims the red.
