I use wall warts (no communication abilities so they are not rated USB 2 or 3) and get green light on both of my units.This is precisely what I said a couple of days ago.
I think the light only turns green if you're using a USB3.0 spec USB port or charger. I've now heard from 3 people who say they get green lights when charging from their PC but not when charging from wall warts.
USB (2&3) ports both use various output power levels, you need to measure the output or find the specs of the port for your device. Some USB (2&3) ports will automatically shutoff when a unit load draw is at some set reduced level, others will not shut off at all and depend on the connected device to regulate the power flow.
