I've been running my unit frome vaportekusa since the 1st batch was shipped. The thing works great for the money. I had to pull out the center pin because it got pushed down a bit, and the sleep "quirk" or "issue" is there. But neither of those things is making my vaping experience less.

I am really enjoying my mod. And I am really considering building my own now.

Any orange orders from elev8? I am really surprised at the lack of post about people getting their mods compared to the amount they sey thay are shipping accorfing to the spread sheet.

c'mon guys, this is a forum in which people express opinions. I have yet to see diagrams or spreadsheets, or even a picture of the broken ones....doesn't mean it isn't true, doesn't mean it is. hopefully this thread stays open, as it is one of 3 places I check periodically for updates (actually more like 3-4 times daily). I have nothing but supposition to add, as mine has not arrived.....apparently my vendor is having to switch peoples orders around on a daily basis and grant refunds to people that did not read the availability of the item before they ordered. It has been interesting to see people's personalities and opinions change throughout the thread. I hope everyone gets what they want.
I've only been waiting a little over 3 weeks, I had a fasttech order made and arrived in that time. I do not really have the luxury or cash to go with the legit models of anything so far, unless you count my MVP.... I ordered this particular mod because I like the size and shape, and the luxury of VW. I'll be happy if it functions. If it works for a year...hurrah! I own some clones, and well, they aren't quite up to my standards.
on the other hand if, I purchased a $250+ mod and discovered that the post was crooked, there were milling marks, or the buttons and connectors were hot glued in, and that "the made in america" mod had an imported chip in it.....I'd come unglued (pun intended)!!!!!

I've become some kind of B-grade celebrity in the local vaping community because of my EPM. I've had various people who I've never met come and ask (while at local vaping events) "Are you the guy with the Aussie MOD? Can I hold it?" as if I were somehow holding on to some kind of religious relic or something. I've even had a guy offer to buy it from me for a handsome sum far exceeding the cost of a new one (though I declined because I don't want to be without mine for however long it would take to get another from Oz).

They are amazed that I have 1 of but 5 in the US. Amazed at how well it vapes, and jaws routinely drop at the aesthetics.

It might as well be a gift from *insert your deity of choice here*.

This is one of those MODs that I will NEVER sell unless I were to get a v3 and find the v2 somehow redundant (though it's more likely that I would simply celebrate for having a second EPM).

I'll apparently have to wait for a LOOOOOOONG time for my Blue from Elev8. The spreadsheet notes they are in the 500s for Blue, and I'm order # 2833.

I'm not terribly worried, however, because I already have my Green and a Silver in hand.

Hope I got it right.

That's the V1. The V2 looks almost identical except it has a 2.5mm charging pot on top and a slightly different drip cup/510 atomizer connection.

It's variable between 6-34 watts, buck circuitry, the works.

Retired Thanks for finally explaining why you think this mod might be dangerous I was thinking this thing was gonna blow in my face for a day in a half waiting for you to explain your statement.

Truth be told I've been looking for awhile now for a mod that pushes this much power and looks this good and from what I been finding out on my own is for $70 dollars anyone would have a hard time beating the cloupor clone.

Someone posted it here and got it at home depot. Take the screw with you. HD people are really good at finding what you are looking for. Don't go to a Menards..

Well at my local home depot good luck finding an associate that knows anything lol. Just came from there and their smallest screw was a tad bit too big

Ace hardware is also a good source... I read the complaints about the screws and was going to grab some new ones but my screws seem just fine

Yep... for 70.00 bucks that would be a challenge to find another and my guess is that if you did find one chances are it was made in China..

What will be interesting to see is if the price remains at 70 bucks..... some are selling for alot more already...by net vendors, B&M vendors, and Ebay vendors....and if all the issues, defects, quirks, or whatever term you want to use get resolved then I think the market will dictate the price....

I didn't save it someone said it was a size commonly used in laptops.... The screws suck but with some pressure and proper fitting screwdriver you'll be fine

Retird, if you could, please tell me one piece of electrical/ electronic equipment combining double digit wattage, high current AND liquids with litihium ion power sources- PLUS held directly to one's face and into one's mouth with (some) folks constantly pushing the limits through sub-ohming- that can NOT be considered POTENTIALLY "Dangerous".
