I've not seen where Cloupor offers a mini..... if they have one maybe someone will jump in, Icecloud apparently did not have any beneficial info to offer except an off topic comment to inject drama again...

Clouper has no minis.....the FT minis are manufactured by "Hotcig" and the lipos come with snap on connectors (very easy to replace)......."On topic"......unlike some others.............;):):)

This is the one I have on the way. This is very good to know! I have heard (in this thread) that the batteries included are actually pretty good quality, but would you have any suggestions of good replacements?

So from what I've been reading, clouper is a better all around? Do they have a mini available? Also, I read somewhere that the DNA 30 chip sucks on the fasttech one compared the DNA 20 chip? Any truth to that? I really want a mini but don't know which one to get. I can't seem to find a clouper mini, am I not looking hard enough?

I have heard the opposite , the DNA cloned chips on the Cloupor , FT , Kingside and others all have their quirks , from what i have read from owners of all these devices they all work great , none is superior to another .

No Clouper mini yet. I'm happy with the FT mini, but I think my Clouper is a little better made. Both have their quirks. As others have stated, my FT models read 0.1 to 0.2 ohms high. Other than that no issues with the mini so far.
do you have the FT hana mini DNA 20 or 30? Looks like the mini 20 has a 1600mah battery while the 30 has a 1200mah. I wonder if that 400 mah makes a big difference

Confirmed. I've had both and even though my Clouper fizzed out in about a week it was a better case and slightly more accurate chip. I'm considering moving the FT model's guts over to the clouper box.

So I bought a "authentic" Hana V3 this weekend from a reputable dealer (a franchise I think).
I paid $160 and was assured it was real. When I got home I did some investigating and it seemed to be a Clouper clone. I contacted Hana Modz with photos and they confirmed it is a clone. Hana Modz wants me to provide them with the place and date of my purchase, not sure want to do that. I have not contacted the store where I purchased the devise yet because I'm not sure what I want from them. I don't care that its a clone at all, I just feel I paid too much and their product was misrepresented. I don't really want to return it, I am very happy with the device aside from price and the shop is not close to me. Thoughts or suggestions?

If someone stole from me by deliberately misrepresenting a product I'd want blood. I'm the vindictive sort. If they made an honest mistake that'd be different. But its so much more than a clone should cost and too cheap to be a new, real one. Not much chance of a mistake given the price IMHO.

The red flag should be the low price if it was supposed to be new. If you are going to supply Hana the info I would expect them to give you something in return though. IMO

I agree Hana should give me something in return for the info. I have a signed receipt with the establishments name on it and the box that says Hana Modz. Plus I paid with a credit card so that is documented. As far as the price goes I was hoping since they been out a while the price came down and that no one would try to sell a clone for that much.

Please don't ever buy a paps or a reo. I'd hate to have to read the garbage you post in any other threads but the few where we already cross paths.

I'm sure if cloupor did offer a mini you'd be warning us about how unsafe it is and would start a new thread to chronicle it's faults and potential for catastrophe. I'll leave this reply up, unlike you I don't post a bunch of accusatory garbage then edit it once I'm sure the person it was directed towards has seen it. Why can't you stay out of this thread? Your presence here of late has been purely to instigate and it's not appreciated.

If it were me I'd talk to the place where you bought it to work something out and if not contact the credit card company. I'd leave Hana Modz out of the loop.

I am sure there are more specific threads , but hardly in the wrong thread.

After reading many comments from Classwife and others, they want on topic , i mean really on topic and this thread is about the Hana clone not the Fasttech but i agree all DNA clones should be allowed.

Might as well get others perpectives so i will post this and see if it gets removed , here's more reviews of the FT compared to Cloupor and the reason i said depends who you talk to.

I received the first version of the "Cana" Clouper DNA 30 about a month ago. I can tell you the first release had problems! Recently my FT DNA 30 arrived. I was very impressed with the quality of the unit! I ordered the orange SKU: 1740400 (no seam along the drip well) and the anodized finish is beautiful. Much more durable than the Clouper. (that I already had to J-Wrap because of scratches.) IMO the FT (Hotcig) version is superior when it comes to fit and finish. Also, all the improvements have all been made... Adjustable 510 center pin... Hole next to USB to see charge indicator status... Also, the multi-click issue to wake the thing up from sleep has been resolved. The FT unit comes with a purple 2500 mAh, 35 amp Efest battery. That's the icing on the cake! Other than the price difference! :D The aluminum boxes are identical in quality as far as being "robust." Identical in size, weight etc... Although durability of the exterior finish definitely goes to the FT Hana Clone! Hope this helps!!!

I just got me a red one. Must say the quality is awesome. Same purple 35a battery and so far vapes like a beast. We will see how it does over time.

Even though i love my Cloupor i noticed it does randomly come on for no reason , it doesn't bother me but i wonder why.

From everything I've read about these it's some kind of interference from a wi-fi or radio signal of some sort. Definitely shouldn't be happening but seems harmless. My v3 Cloupor does it too occaisionally.
