I'll pass. Seems more nonsense here than anything else.. I agree Ferg, it WAS. I assumed the personal attacks and bullying would stop after release, guess not.

Where's the personal attacks ? All i can remember is you accusing me of referring to you in regard to another forum which i said i was not , thats when all hell broke loose .

Since you have been absent from this thread ever since there has been smooth sailing with no accusations and no more issues .

You now come on and say your being attacked again ? Cmon man , your wayyyy to sensitive , it's all good.

$50????? O.O Um, if we're talking Cloupor dna 30's for that kind of jack, where would I find it???

It was around the Fourth of July holiday , many were offering Cana at big discounts , up to 30% off , i cannot remember the specific sites .

fasttech sells the hotcig version for $54 and includes a genuine Efest purple 35A 18650 battery. Not sure if this is what he was referring to when he said around $50 or not.

No these were definitely not FT models .

I've had my FT red mini for a week or two now and I am loving it! I use it more than anything else I own. No problems so far and I am thinking of getting another. My review is on the site and I got pics in the discussion thread. Is there anything smaller than this with around the same options and watt range?

You should take a look at the vapor shark... that one is real small.

Doesn't it take just a 18500 battery, that's why its so small? So that's even less capacity than the 1600mah of the Hana mini.

Obviously you did or you would not have specifically quoted me , not once but twice . Let it go. If your referring to retird quote him not me , it may work out better that way lol.

This may have been asked elsewhere in this thread but I didn't fancy trawling through 700 odd pages - I have a diy enclosure winging it's way too me. I believe it's the latest enclosure by Hotcig - it has the hole for the charge LED and an adjustable 510, it looks great. Anyone know if any of the vinyl wrap manufacturers do a wrap for this version?

I had my clone a few months now. Still works Great. I got a first gen so it still need's a double click to come out of sleep mode and the screan still comes on by it's self from time to time. The finish is not very durable Compared to a real Hana V3 it is less powerful it takes for ever to charge the battery But the battery life is better. All in All 79 bucks well spent :)

The finish on the original wasn't so hot either, just for the record. Hence my fully-covering VaporSkinz wrap. Raw aluminum scratches when you burp near it.

So I bought a "authentic" Hana V3 this weekend from a reputable dealer (a franchise I think).
I paid $160 and was assured it was real. When I got home I did some investigating and it seemed to be a Clouper clone. I contacted Hana Modz with photos and they confirmed it is a clone. Hana Modz wants me to provide them with the place and date of my purchase, not sure want to do that. I have not contacted the store where I purchased the devise yet because I'm not sure what I want from them. I don't care that its a clone at all, I just feel I paid too much and their product was misrepresented. I don't really want to return it, I am very happy with the device aside from price and the shop is not close to me. Thoughts or suggestions?

Misrepresenting an item is fraud, selling it for more than the typical price for the real named item is theft. If you sell the item, even if you disclose it is counterfeit you may expose yourself to criminal prosecution.

Suggested course of action from Consumer Reports -
  • Demand satisfaction from the company by providing you the real item that you thought you purchased.
  • If they will not do so file a charge-back as a billing error.
  • Contact the local State Consumers Office or States General Attorney office providing them all of the information.
  • Let them know that Hanna Modz has requested the information.

The Vapor Shark DNA30 is smaller than the Hanna Modz mini - both have 1200mah LiPo batteries. Now there is also the rDNA with a replaceable 18650 battery.

A photo for size comparisons, that is Herb's Clouper Clone on the left, rDNA center, VS DNA30 with Shark Skin on the right. But both of the Vapor Sharks are considerably more expensive than the clones.

Toronto, Canada,
I had an issue with the one I got from Wetvapes, pressing the fire button was constantly giving the "Locked press 5X" deal.
Was about to give up on it but put some Isa-propyl on my pinky fingertip and rubbed it on the outside of the switch, flicked it a bunch of times and set it aside for a day. Seems to have worked as it's firing properly now, no errors. Hope that helps. :)

It's the same size box as the cloupor I have both.... The same jwrap version for the clone fits them..
