So I bought a "authentic" Hana V3 this weekend from a reputable dealer (a franchise I think).
I paid $160 and was assured it was real. When I got home I did some investigating and it seemed to be a Clouper clone. I contacted hana modz with photos and they confirmed it is a clone. hana modz wants me to provide them with the place and date of my purchase, not sure want to do that. I have not contacted the store where I purchased the devise yet because I'm not sure what I want from them. I don't care that its a clone at all, I just feel I paid too much and their product was misrepresented. I don't really want to return it, I am very happy with the device aside from price and the shop is not close to me. Thoughts or suggestions?

just my :2c:

go back to the store. bring with you EVERYTHING you can download regarding Hana suing companies, plus a copy of your discussion with Hana. let them read it. tell them you were on the phone with hana. then, show them ads of cloupor mods priced at $70.

then, tell them that you are really p*ssed! tell them that Hana wants their name.

give them time to digest everything.

then, just ask them what they have in mind, to keep you from calling Hana back. tell them that your wife wants you to rake them over the coals, big time. then, tell them that you are the reasonable one, and you are willing to listen.

don't like what you hear?

tell them that you could buy a new cloupor. any number of companies can put one in your hand in 2 or 3 days. then, you will contact your credit card company to dispute the charge. THEN, say, maybe your wife is right. maybe you should also contact the AG, the BBB and the chamber of commerce.

then tell them that you are so peeved that you have to do all of that work, that Hana will be your next phone call.

eciggity has the for $80, but free shipping and with the coupon twisted420, you get 10% off.

i know, i just ordered another blue one, $71.99 shipped, this afternoon. and i just got the shipping notice on it!

you should walk away with 2 cloupors, or your money back. anything less, contact Hana. clones are one thing, pirated product is another. these folks ripped you off, ON PURPOSE. in fact, 2 clones and fifty bucks, should make you "whole".

btw, i took store credit from 101vape, cuz they are still out of blue. i bought 3 more mini nautiluses. they go great on the cloupor. got 1 this afternoon, on my way home. the bvc rocks!

Well my gen1 Cloupor is dead AGAIN!
And I think this time for good.
It just started displaying "check atomizer" on every atty I have.

Well it was a fun 7 weeks while it lasted.
Gonna contact my retailer and see about that warranty, then I think I may jump ship and look at the new IPV mods.

And as if I dont say it enough, make sure you always have a trusty mech handy!

Has anybody had trouble getting their DNA30 from
DNA 30 CHANA MODZ V3 | Vapor Co

I ordered one of these back on July 8 and never received it.
I called the USPS with the tracking number and they said they never received a package to ship.

Emailing ShopVaporCo results in zero response.

With all the internet purchases I have done in the past year this is the only problem I have had.

Anybody else have trouble with ShopVaporCo?

Please don't ever buy a paps or a reo. I'd hate to have to read the garbage you post in any other threads but the few where we already cross paths.

I'm sure if cloupor did offer a mini you'd be warning us about how unsafe it is and would start a new thread to chronicle it's faults and potential for catastrophe. I'll leave this reply up, unlike you I don't post a bunch of accusatory garbage then edit it once I'm sure the person it was directed towards has seen it. Why can't you stay out of this thread? Your presence here of late has been purely to instigate and it's not appreciated.

Yep, if Cloupor or any other manufacturer offered a mini or any other device and it exhibited IMO safety concerns then you can count on me expressing my opinion...

Mine went back also after verification from Cloupor that their warranty was 90 days as stated in the instruction sheet which the vendor initially wasn't going to warranty past 30 days.....

One opposing perspective, and quite strongly at that. Expressing reasons for potential concern, many with at least some degree of validity (in my opinion), are very different from "potential for catastrophe". Opinions, particularly experienced ones, should be welcomed, not discouraged.

I just wanted to be on-the-record with that, given the highly personal nature (and tone) of your post.

May I also add that you seem to be walking a fine line between an opinion and a violation of ECF's guidelines.

Unfortunately this has been going on for quite some time , many many places are trying to pass off clones as authentic .

I have seen three shops around me selling clones in that price range and insisting they are real Hana's and many people really don't know any better and are getting ripped off.

I would be outraged and demand they refund my money at the very least , the fact that your happy with it is besides the point , you should of paid no more than $80.00 for it , around the same price as most other clones , bet you would like it even more then.

From everything I've read about these it's some kind of interference from a wi-fi or radio signal of some sort. Definitely shouldn't be happening but seems harmless. My v3 Cloupor does it too occaisionally.

Thats a good point , i bet that is what causes it .

Thanks

Seven weeks , has to be a defect , thank God for the three month warranty.

Great work! I am waiting on the Fasttech Hana clone enclosure and am going to build it up with the FDV 510, Evolv DNA 30 and new switches. Curious how you mounted the screen? Did you add a plastic lens or mount the screen directly to the case? Did you hot glue or epoxy? Thinking about a Shapeways cradle as an option. Appreciate any advice.

Didn't get too carried away tidying it up but its alot better than a crap load of hot glue. I left the bottom portion with the up/down buttons and usb in because they are encapsulated in hot glue and in all honesty I have no real complaints with any of those components. I did the fire button because it gets alot more repetitive use than the power up/down buttons because I mostly hold them down to make wattage adjustments. Not too difficult to mod at all, took a couple hours in total, that plastic plate makes life easy for alignment but will only come out if the 510 and fire button are out. On a side note, the stock 510 connector surprisingly has a delrin insulator, can post a pick if required.
