Here is the inside of mine. Looks like the buttons and such are epoxied in. The hot glue is just on the red window. Hope this helps ease some worries

I'd bet they'll wait until people saturate the market with full size before running out with the minis so that they won't be making a choice between the two, and hopefully buying a full size now and a mini when they finally roll out.

I'd want to know exactly which LiPo battery they're using first before I bought a mini from a Chinese manufacturer. I'd need to know that there is enough battery in the box, and not some underpowered battery they used because they're cheap.

I would say just buy the lipo that the real hana uses i think they go for around 10 or 15 bucks

I've had my black Cana from wetvapes.com for a few days now. Used with with a Trident dripper and a couple of kayfuns. Seems worth the cost thus far to me. My only confusion is that with a .3 coil on the dripper that reads .3 on the Cana, it still flashes the ohms when firing indicating it is dumping unregulated battery voltage which contradicts the .3 - 3.3 ohm regulated range on the elev8vape.com specs for them, but does not contradict the .4 - 3.0 ohm regulated range provided on wetvapes and 101vapes. I will be testing something reading .4 oh the cana tonight to see whether the smaller range spec holds true.

From what I figured out so far... it can read a resistance of .3 to 3.3. Less than .3 will show a short. It will regulate between 4v and 8v. So my .6 ohm coil will run unregulated at 10 watts, and run regulated at 30 watts. If you run a coil at roughly 2.2 ohms, the whole 7-30 watts will be regulated.

I have the black clone from 101vape and the back cover screw is stripped, and I can't put a battery in there. Any ideas on getting the screw out and opening the cover?

Mine stripped as well. Don't use a screw extractor/easy out because the screws are so cheap they easily come out with a drill. Use a small drill bit and drill the screw head off. It doesnt take much effort so go slow. You will need replacement screws and they are M2 x 10mm that's what worked for me. I also replaced the other screw as well. You can get the screws at Ace Hardware.

Besides the screw issue, I really like the device

Just another video review i found Hana Modz V3 The Perfect Clone? DNA30D: http://youtu.be/efV6V2LTncE

Where did he get one with a logo. Hana is going after anyone trying to sell those. Im perfectly happy to have one without the logo. I plan on using it as a project box for future chips. As long as the screens remain the same.

You can get very high quality LiPos for about $5. I'm about to throw in 2 1200mah 30A batteries in parallel (for a single battery of 2400mah 60A) in an SX350 box.

Each one is just under $6.

Either way, I'd rather not have to go through whatever mess of soldering/epoxy they'll use in order to change the batteries out.

What I'm really after is a mini-sized box that has a window for the SX350. I'm using small project boxes now, but I'd love to have a billet aluminum box.

Batteries are charged and it's in the Silver from Wet Vapes. Vaping a 1.4Ω KFL+ v2 (EHPro) at 14W. Very smooth. Buttons are nice and clicky.

The biggest con thus far is that the Silver is a finger print magnet. It's not as bad as polished stainless, but I've only been holding it for a few minutes, and my prints are everywhere. But that's no fault of the MOD, but the material.

The black is a finger print magnet as well

Yes it is, thought it was just me. I ordered the Jwraps black carbon fiber for mine today. I have to constantly clean mine because it gets slippery from the oil in the fingerprints. Hopefully the wrap will solve this.

Anyone know why there is a HUGE difference in color? Both from 101.

If you read all 4000 posts you will find that I have stated this approx 4 times, I think I just might make this my sig line :p

anodization can and will have color variation from batch to batch.

If you read all 4,000 posts you would notice that the person who took the pictures said it was just different lighting.

1) in that particular anecdote that may be so.
But it doesn't change my statement. This is nature of the beast esp when mass produced.
Ive seen this for as far back as I can remember in the firearms world, not one off backyard mechanic projects or the like.

2) actual Hanas display variation as well. Care to guess why?
