I wanted to share what devices and ohm's I've tried:
Origen v2 - Single coil - 1.7ohms. 20-25 watts seems to be the best for flavor and vapor for me. I get about 6.8 volts. This is probably my favorite one so far.
Origen v2 - Dual coil - .50 ohms. Tried 20-30 watts but didn't quite get the power output I was hoping for. Flavor was ok and same with vapor. This same build on my mechanical mod produces awesome flavor and vapor. I haven't used this build since day 2 of owning a Hana clone.


I have also tried sub-ohm and 1.0 ohm or higher builds on a Zenith, Magma, Tobh and Brass Monkey but the Origen is still my go to atty for this device.

Agreed...but a mech is still the best option for sub ohm as the Amp output limit on current regulated (widely available) mods is 12.5A.

Again, it depends on where you draw the line for sub-Ω.

A fully charged battery on a mech with no voltage drop under load (again, impossible) is still only putting out 10.5A with a .4Ω coil. Even at .35Ω (at 4.2v), you're still under the cap at 12A.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but for the cloud chasers, which is who I think of when I hear "sub ohm"...they are building in the .0X range, which to me is completely unnecessary, but hey...it's their faces...

Has anyone here succeeded in using magnets for the rear battery door instead of the screws? If so, how did you do it? A tutorial/pictorial would be nice.

Here's what I have for magnets. 100 Pieces RARE Earth Neodymium NdFeB Disc Magnets 1 4" Round x 1 16" Thick | eBay 100 of them for less the 8.00. My ana 30 just got shipped so not tested. I have this on my sx350 build and they hold awesome. I found this magnet info on anther post in the forum. Hope it helps.

I'm kinda annoyed that I my choices are to:
1) wait on my elev8 order #3xxx for a few weeks
or
2) order from wet vapes, pay 6 dollars more, and get it in a week.

My order at Elev8 was also sitting at 3xxx. I saw a deal on Ebay, asking for $10 more, but I was getting the color of my choice, being shipped to me immediately. I took the plunge, and a waiting to get it today, but I am sure I did the best $10 justice by not waiting for weeks, weeks and weeks.

Soldering is easy! It's making a proper cut for the display of the SX350 that will prove to be a booger...

The main soldering on it right now is the 510 connector and the battery mount. That isn't to bad. Now if you must solder on the board down the road like the button add on for adjusting wattage might be a little harder. The button add on hasn't officially released yet. It's still in testing right now.

In where? The cloupor box? The display is different won't line up correctly. Also I'd recommend practicing before doing it on a working chip

Why would that annoy you?

Supply and demand. Wet Vapes took the better route in this case as far as their sales strategy.

I'm in my living room right now so don't have the chips in front of me but I'm fairly sure that the dna clone is wider than the SX350. Definitely not worth the hassle though.

I now have it plugged into a USB 3.0 port. I'll report back in a while and let you know IF the light turns green. I'm not expecting it to since the current coming into the device is regulated to 500ma by the charging circuitry. I may eat my words, if I do I do. Wouldn't be the 1st time. (Or the last) lol

I have now charged it via USB 3.0 on my computer for 5 hours (already full Battery) no green light. I left it plugged into a iPhone wall charger overnight... no green light. I have it plugged directly into the wall (no surge protector) so we will see if that makes the mystical green light appear lol Is it possible that during the manufacturing of the charging circuit boards some of them got 2 red LEDs put on them instead of a red and a green?

I have been siting on the side lines watching what's going on with the hana clone and now want one. No one has it in stock I am not the waiting kind of guy. I found a site that has black in stock any color will most likely scratch and will cover with a wrap anyway decent price for one that will ship right away
