Havent been on here in a few days... what did I miss? More lawsuits?

Regulated mod noob here. Other than super super low sub ohms, is there a reason (other than aesthetics) to use a mech over it? Does 30 watts on a .5 coil hit as hard as say, a copper mod with a .5 coil at full battery?
Thru the experience of many modders we have learned that a drop of super glue gel placed under the ribbon where it crosses the board will help strengthen the connection and take the stress off of the solder points. .
Just passing this to you so you consider it as you move forward on replacing the internals.
How about silicone rtv?Actually old sticky rosin is preferable to SG... Super glue can destroy some ribbon materials.
How does one check wattage with a multimeter ?
True a tiny dab of silicone would be preferable too..How about silicone rtv?
From what they emailed me when they changed my order from awaiting fulfilment to awaiting shipping. They are packaging them up for posting but holding them till they settle with Hana. Then they will all mail at the same time.
If ever !!
Emphasis on "If ever" I totally gave up on them![]()

That 10A limit will also start to limit the capabilities of the clone vs a mech at lower sub-ohm builds....
Power - using the same battery, Magma with .6 ohm build, used on three devices
At 30 watts, CNA reads 4.2 volts, output is 3.62,
On my Black Sioux mod, I just got tonight, the output is 3.9, on the Manhattan it is 3.98 - a little cleaning and it would be higher.
At .6 ohms the mechs I used last week held a higher voltage and for significantly longer than the CNA.
Someplace around .7 - 1.1 the CNA outshines a mech by providing more power and longer. But I got tired of testing stuff and now have a couple of drippers at 1.0 and 1.1 and I am really enjoying the CNA.
Oh and one other thing, I believe the CNA 30 chip is limited at 10A vice 12.5 - however I really have nothing to support that. Just the way it seems from what little I vaped at .4 and .5 ohms.
The email mentioned was from May 29th. On the 31st they started shipping and several have posted in this thread that they received their clone from IllVapes; and they continue to receive and ship what they receive, just like all the rest of the companies.
I'm in complete agreement with what Hana is doing. They're completely in the right attacking those selling the clones with lawsuits.
I'm also completely disgusted with both how Hana handled their rollout of the v3 and their vendors(the ssVapes presale I was in still irks me), and that they let such obviously subpar mods get out of their building and into the hands of customers. I guess I've been spoiled by the quality devices and quality service I've received from Perseas and GP Paps.
If only they'd put all this money for lawyers and defending their trademark into their facilities building the mods, or spent it on more employees to ramp up production to meet demand, or into a QC department that could ensure the defective units never got into customers hands(they should hire away the Provari QC guy from Phil's video, no wonder every Provari I've ever seen arrives flawless, that guy is dedicated), or to hire a consultant to help them streamline their business from the ground up to be more efficient and manufacture the product at a lower cost so that they could lower their price.
Even though they're completely right with these lawsuits. I'm done with Hana. For the first time since I first began getting into mechs and didn't know any better, I'm happy to own a clone. I can't believe I just said that, or that I actually don't feel bad owning and thoroughly enjoying a clone. I'll buy a several more regulated mods to compliment my army of GP mechs and Provaris, and not one of them will be a Hana Modz.![]()
LOL And a good morning to youNite Fergie.....
Me too.....![]()
Morning coffee here too. I'm waiting on order #33xx from arlind@elev8 for one orange unit for $71 shipped. I liked the original orange, but not the color cloupor has now settled on. I figure I'll get my unit in one or two weeks.
I have the choice of going with raj@wetvapes for $82 shipped. He expects to ship next week, and can get me any color I want.
Finally, I can order straight from cindy@cloupor for $644 for ten units shipped. I could keep three and eBay off the rest. They are quoting 7-14 day lead.
Decisions, decisions.
