I will say this about the Mini v3 Plus, it is crazy forgiving for nOObs to RTAs.
All the
coils I've rebuilt so far was my Turbo Evods and GS Airs. I accidentally wound my first mini v3 coil with 32 gauge Kanthal. Oops. 3.2 ohms. What the heck I thought, lets see what happens. At first I had a pretty massive
juice leak, I think out of the air holes but I guess that was nOOb operator error. I cleaned it up and all is ok now. I prefer a cooler vape and even with this way too high coil it still vapes pretty well.
I've already got another coil wound from the thickest I have 30 gauge at 7 wraps at 2mm. That will probably ready higher than my 1.5 preferred but if the 3.2 vapes this good even a 1.8-2.0 ohm should do pretty well too.
I will say that capturing the coil legs is At Least as fiddly as rebuilding the GS Air
coils though.
I would appreciate it very much if someone who has cut capture grooves into the deck would show a pic of them. I assume that's a Dremel job, right?
