Well Rick's I am learning fast.lol I have never heard of 3f before but the prices seem to be very close to FT.Are they fairly reliable? Any others? TIA

Hey everyone. I used Kayfuns and Russians for years until I moved on to the hurricane. Thinking about trying out the kayfun mini but worried that the airflow is too restricted compared to what I'm used to now on the hurricane (Im a mtl vaper)
I curiouser the hurricane at the middle hole both sides open. How does the kfmv3 compare to that? (or subtank mini v2 medium airflow both sides)

Finally got my 316 SS version from FT.
Machining is excellent!
Very clean but the faintest smell of machine oil, so a good bath and scrub.
Coiled a Kanthal 26ga, 3mm ID, 6 spaced wraps for a 0.96 ohm coil. vaping at 20 watts right now. Will increase as the evening goes on.
Vaping 70vg NET DIY
No dry hits, JFC works great at 2 turns. Tank stays solid, no wobble. No leaks so far.
AFC, as ccwaters mentioned...I just removed the grub screw completely. Result is a loose MTL, similar to a Tilemahos draw wide open.
Flavor is very nice. Just breaking in wick and coil so I expect improvement there. We'll see if it improves.

Zanzabar, I do not have a Hurricane, so I cannot compare. But the KayFun Mini v3 is a true MTL. To me it feels a bit restricted. But I vape on other more open tanks like the Serpent, Avocado, and other DTL attys.
Does it have more airflow than the kfl+? That's too restricted for me these days

No, it is at least that restricted (kfl+) about the same. I wish they made a kit to open up the center airflow on this.
I'm thinking on just ordering from 3fvape instead of ft, even though ft says ships next business day. It was ships next business day at 3F but now it's 10 business days. Does that mean that it's no longer in stock and are re-ordering? Just wondering if that 10 could turn into 20. Or do they sometimes ship in less than 10?
I don't know about that with 3F. I do know that with FT, 3 days to ship turned into a month after they said it shipped and I would have it last week.
I have never had a problem with FT. Been ordering for years. But I know none of them are perfect.
I never had any problems with FT until about a year ago. They were great before that. Then I got too many broken parts from them and they did nothing about it until I disputed it with PayPal. Customer service is poor also. GearBest and Focal has issues also.
Bronze got his own thread shut down for his rudeness. They got way too out of control there. Please lets not let that happen here. It's a good thread here. Lets keep it going.
It's a sad thing too to lose that thread. A lot of good information was discussed there. He is blaming it on everyone else too. He and his friends were the ones who got it shut down. They were the only ones bringing up the talk of clones and name calling. SMH...
I looked at 3F earlier and they out of stock on most everything..and my FT order says shipped about 8 hours after I ordered..(hopefully)

I remember once, when I was still a small kid (5 years old maybe), I was at an airport to catch a plane with my parents. I was bored to death waiting for the gate to open and started crying. An old Russian man approached me and offered me a wooden, fully decorated spoon. I just starred at the spoon which I found absolutely cool same as the old man. I guess that was when I decided I wanted to visit Russia lol.
I still have the spoon, 35 years later btw
