I agree with what you said about having an extra piece will decrease conductivity. And it will look bad too...

No problem for me to adjust the JFC...I know that 4 twists are the same as 2 full turns (half a turn with each twist) I then open it another half turn/full twist beyond what is suggested since I am using a slightly larger coil and slightly lower resistance than suggested and need just a bit more juice flow.
LOL you are a purest Ricks!! No, I agree, this thing has such nice simple lines I would hate to break it up with an extra piece in between tank and the mod.

I use this simple (and flat) 510 airflow control adapter on my iStick 20 to protect the soft threads--works great and looks great, too.

If you like iSticks, the iSticks 30 and 40 (with TC) are both great choices. I love mine.
I love my ELEAF ISTICK 60W TC. Having the tank sit centered looks good. I have the Sigelei Mini 30w and the threads on that I hear are very fragile. Just have to careful with the ones with soft material threads.
After dealing with the Istick 20w, I decided to start building my own mods with Evolv chips because there was nothing out that was as small and had a spring loaded 510. Now, I only use mods with Evolv chips. I currently have 10 in rotation (5 DNA200 and 5 DNA40). I built 3 DNA200 and 2 DNA40, the others are bought (4 Vaporsharks and 1 Hana). I'm in the process of getting my sister off cigarettes so I gave her a Cloupor Mini with a KF4. That also had 510 issues so I built a DNA40 for her from parts I had left over. I plan on giving one of these KM3's to her after I figure it out which is why I bought so many.
Got any pics? With all my free time I should try making one. I like them small myself.
The smallest one I made was in a Hana mini clone box with a DNA40 large screen and VT510. Then I bought a VS rDNA40 11/14 and a VS DNA40 5/15 which is the smallest mod I have. I still use both almost daily.
I usually vape somewhere around .8 to 1.2 ohms, 10-15 watts. Already have Eleaf 50 w, Ego one and a copper mod from FT. Would be nice if I could find a cylindrical regulated mod that fits flush with Kayfun mini. I don't think such a thing exists yet ...
I saw one on the other thread. Nice fit too. Try finding it there for it. I will look later or in the morning if you don't find it.
You're not alone in thinking that the M's have better taste than the MS's. Many people in the GS-Air thread think the same. I ordered the MS's for the same reason you did (the profile), followed by a GS-Tank.
Unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that the GS-Airs are not the best long-term solution for me. The threads are too soft and I honestly feel I get a more dense and flavorful vape from rebuilt (1.5-1.6 Ohm) coils in my Mini Protank 2s than I get from the GS-Air Ms or the GS-Air Tank with rebuilt coils. I think it has something to do with the distance the vapor has to travel between the coils and my mouth - it's a cooling factor.
I've been lurking in this thread since it started and I'm hoping that the Kayfun Mini v3 will be a long-term solution for me. I've been using iStick 20's, 30's and a 40 up to this point, but I just ordered an Xtar VC2 charger off Amazon. When it ships, I intend to order an Evic VTC Mini, some LG batts and a Tobeco KM3 clone.
I'm liking what I've read so far from the rest of you. If it works out for me, I'll be ordering a couple more - prob the SXKs - off Fasttech - and will be back to ask for FT ordering tips. I might even spring for an original if I'm REALLY impressed.
I don't mind that it's 19mm. I think that lessens the odds of the glass tank breaking if I accidentally knock a box mod over on a table. I can deal with a 2ml capacity - it's the same as the GS-Air MS.

Those "seconds" Provari 2.5 prices are tempting, but I can't shake the feeling that the mod w/KM v3 might be so long that it would be a bit unwieldy for me. Maybe a 2.5 mini - but then the battery life will probably be very short. Guess nothing's perfect <shrug>. Plus I'd have to spring for more batteries unless I get the extension cap too.
I hear you. I wish they took the same flat top batteries as the rest of my mods I would probably have a few by now. If you keep an eye on the site the gold zincote 2.5 comes with the extension which I got and that is an awesome deal. I use mine with a Nautilus mini it's not that bad.
Personally, I like the protections of a regulated mod, not to mention I really like TC and hope I can get the KM v3 to work in that mode. I might go mech if the vapocalypse requires, but in that event I'd probably go with a Reo.
