The $18 has logo, ss 510 center pin (does it have notches on juice fill screw for no flooding?)

Yes the topfill is notched on mine..but I still turn them bottom up for the first turn on the JFC .. Just cause I guess..

I just ordered the $13 one to compare, use and/or for parts.

@Katdarling and I have been pretty lucky with most, except for with this one.
$11.82 Kayfun Mini V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2ml / 316 stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

After she wrestled endlessly to get free replacement bases from them, for both of ours, only hers is working (and not without issues). I'm using the drip tip. The rest of the tank, plus both bases, are bagged for parts.

In other words, I can't highly recommend it. :|

I like the drip tip.

I really wanted to love the black tank, but it's been an angry lil kid from day one. The new replacement base is sort of working for me, but not for DPL, which is a true bummer-shame. But it does seem to weep a lot. Could be my fabulous wicking technique (ha ha), or maybe it's just this particular model of the KFM.

I'm not sure about the SKU above, as the ones we got were $13.98 Kayfun Mini V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2ml / 316 stainless steel + glass / 19mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping. I don't really know the diff between the two.

For those with the Tobeco KFM, are you still pleased with it? Any issues at this point in time?

I got the $13.98 one and it sucks. The resistance is unstable and only works with kanthal... barely. I ordered 2 black Tobeco KM3's from VapeNW and they're pretty good. It does seem that the KM3 gets a lot of condensation in the air flow chamber. I take a quick drag before putting it down and that seemed to help.

I ordered a SXK KFv5 but I probably won't see that for another 4 weeks or so. I just built 3 new Silo mods with 2 DNA75's w/18650 and a DNA200 w/950mah 3s lipo. I was going to wait for the black Tobeco KFv5 but that might be a few weeks too.

I'm happy with mine. A little liquid in the area between the 510 pin and the AFC screw now and again, but from what I've read that happens with the authentic too. Air hole is about what it's supposed to be - 2.2 mm. O-rings seem a little soft, but I lube them whenever I wash out the tank and I'm still on the original set. I intend to order 1 or 2 more. Still trying to return the ones I got from FT.

I looked at the reviews on the black one I got from FT and they all said that the coating is the reason for the resistance issue. I looked at my black Tobeco and it doesn't have any coating under the 510 part so I sanded down the parts on the FT version but haven't tried it yet.

That should help... Every black tank I had came with the threads in SS.

If you want a black KM3, VapeNW has them for $15 and a flat rate shipping of $5 (from the US). I got 2 of them and they've been working really well. I also built the black FT one after sanding off the coating with a .41Ω SS and it seems to be reliable now. I would still recommend the Tobeco over the FT though.

Thank you, KTM. That is exactly what I'm looking at (VapeNW) (not sanding anything...... ).

Thank you both, very much. After well over a month of eyeing that thang, I am going for it. Welp, not "it" but "them" (DPL's going to have one too, whether or not he wants one.... hahahahhaha). I've started a bit of communication with them to see if we can add them to an existing order, or..... Who knows. Either way, this has become beyond ridiculous, as I've been wanting the Tobeco for a LONG time.

The FT one is ok...... nothing to write home about..... but it works.

I do get that soppy weeping sort of mess on the bottom around the roundish rectangle. I'm not sure what is stemming that sort of leakage. I wipe it off, say a coupla swear words, then on with my vape.

If there's an EASY fix, guys, please let me know. My most advanced power tool is a letter opener.

FT CS has become really slow these days, most tickets are 50+ hours in the queue.

SO true, but in a way, it's worth the wait to have incredibly delightful international fights with Ms. Ivy. ;)
