The center post is quite small, I'll measure it later.
Sounds like my cup of tea since I like a restricted air flow anyway - as long as the holes don't go any less than 1.8 mm. Is there any room to enlarge them?
Probably not the center post opening, but you might be able to enlarge the base holes and the bottom of the center post.
I have not looked at the clearance between the top of the holes and bottom of the deck though, it could be like the NextGen where there was only a 1/2 mm before you broke through the edge.
Enlarging the base holes alone will probably not help since IMO that is not where the restriction begins; it starts with the center post. How do you compare the fully open plus vs the half way closed mini? Equally restrictive?

Yup. Check for metal shavings blocking your airflow. That hole should be 2.2 mm, BTW, per SM specs. Some of them are smaller than that, closer to 2 mm or less.

You find replacement glass for that version yet? Or will it take the Moonshot glass like the $18.xx Plus?
Oh, and while I thinking about it, this lil thing has turned out to be a surprisingly good vape. 7mls of juice on top of a 26650 at 8 watts. I get crazy vape time from it. I build it just like a KFM+ and the flavor is right up there. Need a rig with some legs to it? This will fit the bill. It's the KS clone from FT (Make sure to get the Tobeco if yer gonna grab one). I really wish I could find an authentic but they have remained elusive..like Bigfoot elusive..so far.

I haven't looked for a replacement glass yet, was that your post about putting the calipers to it?
Please let us know when you do.The KS RTA is an absolute diamond in the rough. My tank has started showing stress cracks on top around the chimney, so I need to order a couple more. It was a daily driver used at work for quite a while.

I bought a v3 mini from fast tech.. It would be good if it wasn't for the tiny crappy screws on the deck, but worse the flooding and gurgling. A lot of times I hear people rave about these clones and when I get one there is always problems with it. Is this new version better? I rather have a small tank .. Im not big on huge devices.. Are there any preferred kayfun mini 3 clones out there ? I am thinking about buying another one and giving it another shot.

The Kayfun V3 Plus 1.5 really ain't all that, there is a lot of machine burrs that need to be cleaned up and that center post hole is only 2mm.
Gong Cheng is the MFG and they seem to be a basement operation...
I found out today how stupid the KFM3 design is. If you happen to flood it, you have to take out the center post to clean it. This will allow the positive block to dangle free and possibly distort your coil ATS in the process...
