heres a great comparison of the authentic and SXK version![]()
One had better check their size prior to ordering those reducers I'd say. That was indeed a great video. Unlike his SXK, my FT SXK clone (without engravings) has a correctly-sized center post hole. That could be important for anyone wishing to use the MTL reducers.
ok, that's interesting... I wonder which version i'll get.. my FT SXK should be here this week. That was indeed a great video. Unlike his SXK, my FT SXK clone (without engravings) has a correctly-sized center post hole. That could be important for anyone wishing to use the MTL reducers.
I think you mean, "BECAUSE this is the clone thread, there is no drama."

Clones can be expensive for someone like me. Because a single clone is so inexpensive, I end up buying several, then I end up getting an authentic so I have something to compare the clones to. Right now the two I'm actually using are the authentic KM3 and authentic K5. I have 2 KM3 clones loaded with juice I really don't like and 3 brand new, unpacked KM3 clones on the shelf. And before I started this spree, I bought 2 EHPro KFL, one of which is new in box because the draw on them was too tight for me. So yes, if you have my kind of crazy, clones can be expensive. If the FDA apocalypse doesn't happen I'll probably put some of this stuff on the classifieds.I, on the otherhand, cain't afford clones.

I think the lesson for me is that I should just buy the authentic first. This worked well for me a couple years ago, when I got my first KFL+V2. I got an authentic because I knew that if I got a clone, every time I had any problem with it I'd wonder if it was because it was a clone. I ended up getting a 2nd authentic KFL and an authentic R91 and these were the only 3 tanks I used for over 2 years.I do I do...
That's why I have to watch from afar!!!
And, the Tech in me allows me to see things that others may not. So I point them out.
I mean no offense by any of it.

It would be about $127 shipped to your door from Intaste in about 3 days for an authentic K5I actually planned to buy the authentic, even though it is well above what I would normally pay for a atty, but then started seeing people complaining of being too airy and leaking problems, which made me wary, and due to no one can seem to get them in stock (US vendors), I have decided to go the clone route 1st.
If I like how the clone vapes then still intend to get the authentic, if can find it in stock anywhere.
I just opened up my FT SXK K5 and removed the wick and coil to measure the air outlet. The air outlet on mine is 3 mm also. That was indeed a great video. Unlike his SXK, my FT SXK clone (without engravings) has a correctly-sized center post hole. That could be important for anyone wishing to use the MTL reducers.
$120 shipped from Origin Vape.
I used KFL+ for 2+ years before switching to KM3 and K5 over the past month. I no longer have them side by side for comparison, but I think it's fair to say that the K5 gives better flavor, more vapor, and of course, an easier draw than the KFL.Can anyone give me a comparison to the V5 vs the Kayfun light plus? I have the KLP but it's dated from what I'm use to. I'm using the Merlins, Serpents, and Bachelors atm. But I don't think they will last and finding replacement parts is hard to do.

I came from the high airflow crowd when I purchased my kf5. Comparing it to the serpent mini, it's def a little tighter of a draw. However the draw is so incredibly smooth that I actually prefer it. I didn't think I would enjoy revisiting a kayfun even with the airflow improvements but it has quickly became my go to tank. Can anyone give me a comparison to the V5 vs the Kayfun light plus? A bit worried about the internal airflow control. No serious problems with it? And I do tc exclusively.Sounds like you would like the Kayfun Mini V3
