As I've been keeping up with thread I haven't seen anyone with this issue...

My Tobeco clone seems to have a short 510 connector. It only makes a connection with one of my mods, the Vapor Flask Stout. The Vapor Flask Classic and RX200 both read "no atomizer" as if it's not making a connection.

From an eye test, it seems the Stout has a shorter distance to the 510 pin and the Tobeco's 510 looks a bit short.

Anyone?

No way to "make it longer"..?

I don't know what construction it uses, but on my Bachelors I can pull out the copper 510 pin, stick some sort of shim (I use a small piece of flattened copper wire) underneath it and put it back to make it work with every mod.

I still have 2 KF4's in rotation. For MTL, the KF4 is a great atomizer. The KF5 is just a more simple atomizer but the air flow isn't MTL friendly unless you can get used to it. Some people adapt, some move on to something that fits them. I've learned to adapt and it was worth it for me for the features it provided. The top fill and juice control is better than the KF4. The external AFC makes it easy to switch from MTL to DL, though DL is a bit restrictive.

If you like the KF4 but wanted more airflow, you'll love the KF5. I have 6 KF5's in rotation and 6 NIB. I still have 3 KF4's NIB.

And some people slap a MTL kit in their V5 and are happy as a clam. (And how are clams happy anyway?)[emoji224]

I haven't built the ss SJMY one yet. But for looks, I think the ss looks better maybe cos the original is in ss?

You need one of those:

Circuit Board Spacer | Madvapes

Just drop it into the 510 well of your mod and all your connectivity problems will be solved. Works like a charm.

Get a few of them--they are tiny and tend to get lost.

3F SKX clone arrived to day..looks identical to the Tobeco from Eciggity except for the markings on the chimney & ss tank section. Tobecco markings are darker...

My Tobeco does the same thing. Won't seat on my Radius but works fine on my Xvosticks, 2.5's, Ipower , and Knight. Go figure.

Its funny the sjmy and tobeco clones vape almost identical to the authentic. If I had known the clones would be this close I don't know if I would have bought the authentic (don't get me wrong I'm glad to have supported svoemesto but 99% of the Vape for 1/6th the price) its crazy

You could always mod the air flow hole with a rolled up piece of mesh. Someone in previous posts said they tried it & it works (sorry I forgot who you are).

You can always buy the MTL kit from originvape.com, Its for the authentic but I would bet it will fit on the Tobeco. Spares kits are hard to come by unless you want the authentic also. I am assuming they will work I ordered 3 which is the max you can order.

I'm not going to I'm happy with the AF the way it is, thats one of the things I like about this model over the other KF's. IDK if anyone has gotten them but I did get the spare parts from Origin but from vaping 2 Tobeco's and 1 authentic there is absolutely no difference in the AF or the vape quality. I thought someone did get them though. I think I am done buying attys now I have 12 STM's 4 Tobeco's and 1 KF with some spare parts but I'm going to have to order some extra glass tubes from China. I heard they were all OOS for spares though. MTL is not my style of vaping I like a slightly restricted lung hit and this is perfect. Plus if you really want some strong flavor you can go down to 2 or 3 pips on the AF and open up the JF to 2 turns or a little less and the flavor really gets strong and I do do that occasionally. That's something I need to get done before this state gets the lisencing law which has already been passed and signed into effect.
