I don't think I've ever used atty lock either. I tried it but never "used" it.
Mine with the YiHi that's just the way they work. My self I love it. I have some Joyetech well other brands with Joyetech boards that have a resistance lock but it doesn't really work. One thing about these Kf's they have a shorter 510 so they will probably fit flush with those lousy Joytech 510's. I have to use a washer with my STM's. I am considering getting my first DNA board with the Therion and see how I like it well the first since that one I bought when they hadn't really had it perfected with the DNA40 when it first came out. I heard the presets are off in it and to change them with the .csv files from SE. I am about tapped out when it comes to SX's and the way they seem to last don't think i will need another for a long long time. But these Therion's with the dual 18650's in Parallel sound really interesting to me and I never use more then 75W anyway not even close to that although you can get a DNA200 for not much more.
They say the same thing about the full size SJMY V5 clone, perhaps the V5 in general just has a larger deck then the previous Kayfun versions?
Wish they had kept the KF4 design of the holes. If you get too low and tip the tank over it will break vacuum.

The only experience I have with atty lock is on the Joyetech boards which I am sure is not anything like the DNA with the YiHi if for some reason my atty's resistance changes greatly I just get a dry coil message and it won't fire. Of course I know what the resistance of the coil should be using SE and now I have the Coilmaster 521 Tab so I check the resistance after I build and after I put the atty completely together so it should read the same. I have noticed that a coil after it has been used for a while it will change maybe a couple of hundredths so after I've use it for a couple days I recheck it. That 521 tab is really a cool item I really like it for cleaning my SS coils and building on and checking the resistance.
Yep that is correct the build deck on my Tobeco is exactly the same as my authentic. It's handy the way they put those channels in so when you cut your wire a couple of mm long you can bend it over into the channels. Makes for an easy build to me.
Ha you want a laugh. I ordered 5 extra fat Vape bands to put around the glass on my KF5's to help protect it a little plus to remember what flavor that one is. I ordered from Amazon 5 little vape bands in a small ziploc and they put it in a box about 6"X10"X3" with a bunch of air pillows. A small padded envelope would have done nicely.

Howdy y'all! Sorry, no time to read back--just a quick report. Got my first Kayfun 5 clown--SXK from Legend gadget. I missed their sale, but I found a coupon code for 5% off: "vapes US", if anyone's interested.
First I want to give a quick shout-out to Legend Gadget! I ordered my K5 SXK on the 13th (of this month, late in the evening) and got it today, 6 days later. Must be a record from China. My package was shipped a couple of hours after placing the order.
First impressions--great atty. Clean, smooth threads (the very top threads are maybe a tad crunchy, or I'm just imagining it). No machine oil to speak of. No burrs, nicks, scratches; all holes drilled properly, o-rings in place. Quick bath in warm soapy water and I was ready to go. I threw my usual build on (29g Kanthal, 2.5 mm ID, 1.5Ω, wicked with KGD). Two pips AFC setting. Airier, as expected, than my K4s and KM3. I can get used to it. Flavor is excellent, vapor production decent (at 10 watts), albeit a bit sluggish. I have to experiment with my wicking a bit.
How do you guys and gals wick your 5s? Stuffed? Not too stuffed? Do you trim the tails? Do you try not to put the tails above the juice holes? Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
I swapped the DT--the one that came with the atty feels funny--maybe I just need to get used to it.

Mine from LG shipped in about two days...but the status in tracking says "origin post is preparing the shipment"...for 5 days and counting. That must be a well prepared shipment. I guess I'll give it a few more days then file a dispute with PayPal.
That is not that unusual from China though, I've had packages sit for 2 weeks with that message, it is down to the postal services not the vendor.
