I understand the reason for not having the svoemesto logos but the lack of SXK logo is a little troubling. With that said my mini v3 lacks the SXK logo as well and it has been working flawlessly. I just don't know how one could tell it is indeed an SXK. It would be very easy for FT to swap these with a clone of a clone. Oh well as long as it works I really could care less. As far as the juice control goes I just pick an airflow hole and count how many juice flow holes pass it while opening. I open my kf3 10 holes.H ope that makes sense.:)
I would be suprised if they tried to sell a clone as a SXK clone. SXK have a good reputation and they would not allow it.

One way to identify the SXK-version is to try the glass section on another chimney. It is a little bit thicker than the authentic/other clones, so it will only fit the SXK. Also, if you look closely at the juice holes on the chimney, they are a little bit different on the SXK vs the authentic and other clones.

If the SXK-version on FT is a clone-clone, they did a hell of a good job copying those details.

I've owned all three clones for the past six months. All are user friendly and well made. You can tell by the path this thread has taken that this is true. Compare it to the V4 thread, meh. The V5 is perfect in it's simplicity. My only complaint, as my wife and I both vape, is, having to clean the windows now that it's winter time. They vape so well the deposit on the windows in the house and the car need constant attention. Enjoy anyone of these, we do.;)

I continue my search for perfection with this beautiful tank.I found after a few days of heavy use i was getting slight condensation on the bottom and a little from the airflow holes.I used to lube my o rings with vg.I read somewhere on here not to use vg but this stuff that i linked. The difference is amazing! Not a hint of condensation now and everything moves way smoother, opening and closing the Jfc and airflow is now effortless.I spent a full day completely stripping down, washing, drying ,lubing and reassembling 8 of them.Boy was it worth it.This is a very small tub but you only need a miniscule amount. It should last forever!

Amazon.com: Dow Corning Molykote 111 Oring / Valve Lubricant / Sealant, 1/2oz (Repackaged for Smaller Applications), Water Resistant Lubricant, Food Grade Lubricant, Dow 111: Automotive

That's the stuff I use, as it's designed for orings and food safe. VG can get sticky over time. Enjoy!

Well my SXK showed up yesterday and I am happy to say it does indeed have the SXK logo engraved on it. Still not sure why they would have been selling SXK clones without this marking but alot of people were complaining (including me lol). It came in a sealed box with all the Svoemesto logos and says 100% authentic.
Cleaning it up right now.:)

Yes . Just cleaned and built it. 28g ss316l .54ohms 2.5dia. spaced coil running at 400degrees.This tank has officially retired my Merlin which for some reason is severely muting the flavors of my DIY juice. The flavor on this thing is awesome and the vape smooth and fabulous.Very happy with the buttery threads and appearance.
P.S. I just realised my SXK KF Mini V3 does not have the SXK logo on it.

@Vinnybagodoughnuts Does it have the Svoemesto logo or the SXK logo? These beautiful tanks also retired my Merlins, and everything else!

Just the SXK logo.
Glad I am not alone. I tried moving the coil up and down changing the diameter and ohms but it still doesn't produce much flavor. When I first got the Merlin I was using MBV 555 which is an incredibly strong flavor and it seemed ok but nothing like my SM Mini v3's. Since I started DIY it became woefully apparent that its severely lacking something.Since other people seem to like the Merlin I can only guess that most of them are mtl vapers with the airflow tightened up. I am mostly a direct lung guy. This SM K5 is a dream come true for me as it tastes great with more air then my mini's. The glass is also much thicker then my minis.:)

Well i only MTL and the KF V5 is far superior in every way to the Merlin.Flavor,no leaking, capacity, filling, build quality,no press fit parts, easily sourced spare parts, the list is endless.

Just curious, what power level are you guys vaping? I'm using a 26g 3.0mm, 6 wrap 1.0ohm coil, trimming the cotton tails to the size of the outside part of the deck, and just stuffing it down in the channels. 3rd airflow setting (I was using the 2nd, but I enjoy the less restrictive lung hit with the extra cotton im using) at around 18-19w after i break the cotton in, and it's working perfectly. (I'm not a high power guy most of the time)

I tried cutting the cotton right to the bottom of the inner build deck keeping the amount at a bare minimum, but it kept flooding as pulling at my normal level was pulling way too much juice in, thus causing flooding and a little leaking out of the afc. With the extra cotton, there hasn't been a drop of liquid in the afc since. when using the minimum cotton, i couldn't even close the juice flow without liquid getting pushed up into the airflow.

Granted I've been pulling a little harder on it just in case the extra cotton stopped air from escaping when juice was pulled in, but I haven't had any problem since I went back to the longer cotton.

Might try going back to my old 2.5 7 wrap 1.0ohm coil, and leaving the tails the same length and see if that works as well. When I first tried that build, I used minimum cotton as I had in my kayfun 4, which led to the leaky problem.

@CrazyCory564 I use 28 g SS 316 L 2.5 mm id 8 wraps .8 ohm coil.If in power mode 12-14 watts or 430F in TC.I wick just like you,cut to the outside part of the deck then gently stuff into the juice channels. My current other one in use is 29g kanthal 6 wraps 2.5 mm id at 1.4 ohm,11 watts. I wick this just the same. Not had any problems at all.

Theres only one thing wrong with this atty.I can't put it down.:thumb:
    Just ordered another.
I agree with everything you said about the k5 and want to give a suggestion to you with no intention to derail this thread, try the Digiflavor Siren. the flavor is very good and it is truly a MTL and restricted lung vape. The wick and coil are like new after 75 mils of juice.
