I found this late last night. The NY State senate is trying to pass a bill banning all eliquid sales. It seems you would just be able to only purchase cigalikes.

It includes even giving it away. Which would be a $500 fine per incident. This bill if it passes goes into effect within 90 days. No more e liquid in NY state if this goes through.
Not surprised this is on the table.

I believe any legilator can draft and submit any bill saying anything he likes regardless of the merits. If it gets him a $50 campaign contribution why not?
It's because the majority of the population of the state lives there.
They apparently approve of the corruption, or they would have voted them out decades ago.

It is things like this that make me even happier that I no longer have to depend on anyone to make my e-liquid for me. Fortunately the stoopid (yes, I know it is spelled wrong

Fear not, this bill is dead in the water. As a NY shop owner I did a good amount of research on this bill as it directly looked to put me out of business. They will pass something but not until after FDA regs come out, and it will not ban sales, it will tax them.

Chicago's tax is just pure insanity. If they don't ban it, they will tax it to oblivion.
