When I got my first mod, a Silver Bullet, I tried and tried dripping. I just couldn't get the hang of it. It became so frustrating I gave up on that.

I liked cartomizers for their flavor production, but I hated how often I had to top them off all the time.

One of the reasons I wanted to upgrade to mods from a Smokeless Image X2/clearomizer setup, was to have the ability to carry larger capacity juices in a cartotank. I like things to be simple (KISS - keep it simple, stupid) and relatively carefree, and using tanks allowed me to go days, with several tanks in rotation, without needing to refill them constantly. There is a small learning curve involved, but I've become quite adept at cartotanking. This setup provides me with the best flavor and hassle-free vape that I have had.

Since I don't drip, I use ce3s to test new flavor samples in. They are easy to fill, empty, rinse, and refill.

I've tried the Vivi Novi - type tanks. I liked the easy fill and vapor production, but they mute most of my flavors. Actually compared side by side with the same juice flavor, the cartotank won hands down for flavor production.

I need tough, simple and reliable.

I use the 1.5ohm version of this:

Crystal Clear Vaping

I attach it to a Provari V2 with the 18650 extension.

I'm yet to find a tank system that doesn't leak or flood.

When I drop it on concrete, and the carto breaks off in the socket, I unthread the remaining bit of carto with my knife, and put a new $2 carto in it's place. I work in a place that would give Mike Rowe PTSD. If the carto lives long enough to start tasting like my job smells, I toss it and load a new one. They rarely live more than about 4 or 5 days.

Yes, drip atomizers deliver a more 'pure' flavor. I don't have time to stop and put juice in it every time I get a hit off it.

If I had to pick between a carto or Atty I would have to pick.... carto. I couldn't get in to the drip a few drops after 4 or 5 hits with a drip atty. I'm still new to vaping as well. But the last week or so I have became quite fond of vivi nova tanks. They are amazing with my provari v2 as well with my silver bullet. But I still like to have cartos laying around just in case something goes wrong lol

Attys are generally going to provide the "purest" Vape, as there won't be any wicks or filling to mess with the flavor. However, they will only hold a few drops at a time, so aren't particularly portable. Cartos are generally cheap and fairly easy to use but are a bit trickier to fill, especially with a tank. Clearos are usually the simplest to fill, but can mute the flavors and you need to be wary of keeping the wicks wet.

There is a pretty wide range of quality for any of them, so sometimes you just need to try a few types of each until you find a setup that provides the best overall compromise.

I've tried several juice delivery methods...including dripping, T-tanks, dual coil cartomizers, clearomizers etc. and have concluded that what works for me is much like Baditude. I like simple. And of course taste is a consideration...I have no problems with cartomizers. I honestly think they taste just as "clean" as anything else, and are superior in many ways. Don't do dual coils anymore unless there is no choice. I'm all in with single coil. Clearomizers and other similar type tanks were far too fussy and leaky and annoying for me. And the flavor wasn't up to snuff. Now all I use is EMSCC (single coil) eGo Mega at 2ohm or 3ohm (depending on my volts and mood), and Smoktech 2 or 2.5 ohm cartomizers...punched for use in either 3.5 ml. or 6ml. cartotanks, or left alone and used with my 3.7 Gripper or my 3.7 box mod. That's it. Cartomizers or cartotanks. Not even tempted by anything else right now...except visually with some of those tanks with the RBA thing like the Penelope! lol! But I know I wouldn't enjoy USING anything like that as much as I do looking at it!

I think it depends on where you are and what you want to do.

For work.. Ego Twist with Kanger Clearomizer with changeable heads... No leak / easy to carry / easy to fill / cheap / good flavor

Home... Provari Mini with tanks and punched Boge Cartomizer.. I love the Phiniac Tanks and the High Desert Tanks. I buy the Cartos bulk and punch them myself. Never had a leak. If you go that route get the Slapyomama tank filler tool! Great flavor!

Home... Drip with Provari and the Cisco HH .357 (long)... Keep in mind there is a learning curve with dripping and it is messier (especially at first) but the flavor is amazing. Also it is more finicky and you need to have your juice with you. Thats why I only do it at home and only when I don't mind fiddling a bit. Best flavor!

Where did you get your tank bag. That is really nice. I'm new to this and I have a Lavatube and bought a tube tank. Really disappointed in it. It is flooding and leaks all over the place. Any pointers?
Are you asking me? I'm assuming you are. I found them at a Hobby Lobby store.

http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/8-piece-mini-tool-set-with-case-720318/

It had multiple mini tools in it meant for jewelry making. It came with elastic bands that 8 DCT carto tanks between 3.5ml and 6ml can be snuggly fit.

For pointers about flooded cartos in tanks, follow the tips in this link: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/349526-newbie-tank-question.html#post7739553

I tried Hobby Lobby at OKC and they never have seen one or heard of it. Really bummed me out cause now I got to figure out something else. No problem though. I haven't gone online to look yet.
ON topic. I have to agree for ease of use a vivi nova. Name brand not a knockoff. For best flavor Carto/tank. Bad got me into the carto/tanks and I love all of em for the flavor they produce. You can buy pre punched cartos or punch you own. WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you decide to punch your own don't punch a lot of em till you experment a bit first. My first attempt was a complete and total failure. Since then I've finally learned how big to make the hole and how many turn I need to get that. Good luck with whatever you decide. I can go for a couple of days on one tank and be really happy. No need to carry extra stuff with me anymore.

I drip almost exclusively, but when i run out of atties i'm not too good to cart it. I liked the vivi novas before i got into rebuildables, but i've benched them in favor of a chobra. To be honest, i like to vape just about any way possible. When i convert someone though i generally give them a dual coil tank or vivi nova, because those were probably the least frustrating for me. Slightly muted flavor doesn't bother a smoker. They can't taste anyway!
