Thanks Dom and others for the great lesson! I'm going to print that chart out and save it on my computer. I just never really got into it that much. Just wound a non contact Ni200 coil, set to TC, adjust temp and go! I haven't had the opportunity yet to use SS in TC. I'll try the updates first tomorrow. I might have to do it on my wife's computer as it's a Windows computer, if I can't get it to work on my Mac.
Feel free to reach out if ya need something. Like I said, I'm no pro, but I love to help out where I can!

Thanks, much! All of you are pros compared to me. I just feel so far behind as I didn't care anything for regulated mods, tanks, TC or anything like that for a long time. I believe I've got some learning to do.

Don't feel lonely. I'm a mekkie from way back, and I wasn't interested in regulated mods for a long time. They have their attractions, though.

The Boreas has blown me away. Absolutely no issues, great flavor, great vapor. Its the tank I've been searching for. The few RTAs I have left are officially retired.
Where do we go from here! Anything else at this point would be a step back!:headbang:

There are some of us eagerly waiting for something equally marvelous, but suited for other vaping styles. I don't think we'll be disappointed, either. :)

There has been talk about a single coil named Merlin! Not my style but I'm sure it will be wonderful!:headbang:

That's exactly what I was referring to. :) I haven't ruled out getting the Boreas, either. It's not how I vape now, but I've been edging in that direction anyway. I also kinda want one just because. And, more motivation to DIY.

Me too, I will be purchasing one of those too. The Boreas is a little to rowdy for me. I am sure the single coil tank will be very good.

You know just to help you decide on Boreas I just closed off all but 1 AFC hole turned my RX down to 40w & got a rather cold MTL! the only reason it was cold is I'm running a .25 ohm build right now! Kinda reminded me of my AERO tank but with more vapor! With a 1+ohm build this might be something you could enjoy!:headbang:

Oh make no mistake my friend this RTA is a beast! But a very tamable well mannered beast! I have a friend at work who vapes 3mg & usually has a coughing fit when he hits my 6mg! I turned my RX down to 55w opened 2 holes & he was able to take quite a decent draw with no coughing! IDK this thing is just awesome for me!:headbang:

That pretty much sums it up for me too, now I have a bunch of RTAs to sell.
A black one is still on my wish list!:headbang:
You know @Petabread is still waiting for that black shaft.
I'll likely be picking up one too if I can sell some other rtas off.

Finally made it home and put a build in this beast of an Rta, I must admit I love this thing. I was tired so I just threw a 2x26g with 40g fused Clapton in it. I'll post pictures tomorrow but this is everything I've been looking for in a rta. It is making me wish I didn't pre order the supreme and just waited to buy a black boreas lol :hubba:

Btw my o-rings were broke on both my decks also, luckily there was an extra in the bag but now I'm short one.

I do like how customizable the airflow and juiceflow can be. Before using it I didn't think it would offer very much range, but as long as you don't want closed down juiceflow and wide open airflow, you have a good bit of freedom. Right now I'm using juiceflow pretty open with 3 holes 1/2 open, and its working really well for me, while still not whistling, awesome.

Oh you know it. I'm considering purchasing a black Boreas, just so I can use the black shaft, interchangeably.
