I can't find anything on the Merlin. Manufacturer, beta reviews?

It will be made by Augvape...same manufacturer as the Boreas. We had been told the prototype would be tested this week. Maybe we will see it in another week or two. Hoping. And hopping...can't wait!

You guys are making it real hard for me to hold out for the Merlin.

HD
hi hd montana
also looking forward to getting a merlin !!
but I am not sorry to get the boreas , using it right now with a single coil kanthal build 1.2 ohms at a whapping 15 watts.
jep that's high for me . sitting here and comparing it to the serpent, batchelor , train, and of course the aromamizer 1....
cant get over how nice it is ,cloud and flavor wise !
very happy to have this for a single coil build .using it with one air hole open ..perfect!!
thinking of the large hole deck..silver solder and re drill smaller holes , would be nice to have 2 decks .

Just put a single in mine. 0.56 ohm, 4 wrap Clapton. Working great on 2 or 1 hole open. But I prefer the dual coil setup. Got used to that really think vapor. Flavor is very good on the single coil, but that density to the vapor is missing. Get better vapor on the single coil Serpent.

PROBLEM WITH BROKEN O-RINGS. Just noticed the extra deck in the bag has a broken o-ring (never even took it out of the bag), AND while I was coiling on the smaller hole deck, the o-ring on it just busted as I was wicking...just snapped without even touching it.

I would be most grateful for pics of a single coil build please. :)

For perhaps some of us who don't want the lights to flicker in the house when we fire dual claptons. /joke /lol
It's the flickering lights that make it good...

I am not sure there is a "matching" o-ring in there. I could be wrong but the replacements don't seem the same thickness. There are 2 extras the correct diameter, but they look just slightly thinner.
One of mine broke just touching it as it came out of the ultrasonic bath. In the bag, the first o-ring that looked to be the same size did appear to have a very slightly smaller diameter and when I grabbed the other one that was the same size, it seemed to be the same diameter of the original. What I didn't like is how tight the oring is stretched on the deck. I just knew I'd break the replacement before I got it on there...

Going off the o-ring that broke, they're using a 12mm x 1mm for the deck.

Hope you mixed a bunch. Boreas is a thirsty little devil!!

I did. 11 X 120ml and 3 X 60ml. What I'm liking about Boreas is that I can refill it, by pouring directly from a 120ml bottle. Makes for a quick refill. Still using same coil and wick from Thursday.

316L SS 26 ga dual 3mm spaced .23ohm wicked "tight" with rayon. Power mode 60 to 70 watts and chucking vapor. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Best RTA purchase to date, thanks out to Roxy!

If using TC am I best off building resistance higher?
This chart lists preferred coil values for TC wires...
