All great point, guys. And @ccwaters:thank you for taking time to elaborate. The photos are a great help. I am going to try to build and rewicrk. Will report back. You guys rock!

By the way, what ID do you recommend? 3? 2.5?

I typically build 3mm ID, mostly preference, but for most tanks it seems to give a decent size/density for wicking with minimal trimming. 2.5mm or a larger 3.5, or maybe even 4mm would probably be good in the MM as well. I've found for for most juice I vape 3 seems to be optimal. Do experiment though, and find your own preference..

Guys plz help me out~ with my question~~ I really want to enjoy my Merlin mini....but cant get a good build with SS 24 g TT_TT .....
im using it on the Sx mini Q class

Sorry, not a huge TC person, I do use it, just not on everything If I were going to run TC on the Merlin with .24g SS I'd probably try 6, or maybe 8 wraps on a 3, or 3.5mm coil. Many variables come into play, and as mentioned, even your preferred flavor can effect your build preference. Best thing you can do is experiment and see what you like. You may even want to try come Stainless exotic coils. Or maybe some triple twisted .28 430 they usually work quite nicely in this type of tank.

Got my SS and Black MM's. I think I found my new daily coworker. Now to find a small mod for it to sit on. Trying to replace my Serpent Mini/Pico combo.

Depending on your budget, you may want to look into the VT75 Nano. Fits the MM perfectly.

I want so much to get one of these to go with my other Merlins, but I am having so much trouble thinking about a 2ML tank. I just don't think I can go with something that only holds that little.
Hmmmmm, I'll probably get it just to have it, thing is I know it will just end up on the shelf after a week or two.

It would be really easy for Augvape to provide a longer piece of glass, and a chimney extension, would have actually been a really nice package for them to just include with the tank. Hopefully they decide to make it an option.
I heard on Reddit that they will release an extension kit, I wasn't going to get the mini cos the 2 ml capacity but don't quote me. Of course I hope it's true since I ordered the mini.

Very nice!
Welcome to the party! Did you try the restrictors?
Yep, i'm using the bigger restrictor and getting a good tight draw for me.. enough for my mtl / restrictive dtl.. goin to try full open air hole on the next fill amd see how it goes..

I think i can keep my good ol' serpent mini in the drawer for now..

Really loved the flexibility of this tank. Capacity is enough for day to day vape. If only they release an extension tank for this rta, that would be lovely to bring along on a trip, etc.

Right on. Yeah, I was reading the MTL thread and saw you had your eye on the Merlin Mini for mtl. Looks great on the D2 also!
