Thrasher, do you have a k4? That nut is not the type that fits in a socket or wrench :). Its sort of like a thumb screw. Maybe I have a woman's touch, but I can't say for the OP.

Intaste.de is considered a legitimate reseller of high end authentics. Many members here have bought atomizers there.

This thread is like a train wreck.

Ok, just looked at one and there are flats on two sides so you could use an open ended spanner wrench.

That tight top nut and the tight A9 screw on a new authentic K4 is a common issue.
I used pliers, gave the nut a few small scratches, because I was too eager to open it at that time and forgot about the rubber, but all in all, no biggie, all was fine in the end and the atty is working flawlessly. Even better after I contacted SM about my tight draw issue and they fixed it with a small shipment;)

Here you go. Don't mention it ;)

C'mon, edyle, is this the "I haven't read the book, but by it's cover I can tell it's bad" story? ;)
Btw, what would you say the meaning of "SvoёMesto" is?
Have a vape, man :vapor:

Thanks;

the "Vendors" tab wasn't showing on on the http shop . svoemesto . de site ; that's the urls that came up at the top of google
but when I saw that pic you posted which I tried www . svoemesto . de and the vendors tab shows up there.

I have no idea what SvoeMesto means (or how to get that double dot over the e !)

You've got 10,000 posts, and give information like this? This is why I largely hate forums. You don't have a clue what you're talking about. You couldn't be more wrong. I feel sorry for this forum as a whole, that the members here have to put up with 10,000 posts of completely bad information(if this post is a representation of your other posts).

Youre posting in a thread about a Kayfun product, yet you don't know who Intaste is? Dude, stop. Go away. Go give you "wisdom" somewhere else, because you're clueless here.

Nope Intaste is certainly not a name we see much around this forum; kayfun we see a lot, and svoemesto is well know, but maybe the last time I might have read Intaste was more than a year ago if ever.

I'd think most (99%) people who have a 'kayfun' have never heard of Intaste.

And thanks btw for posting because I'm curious to know who ever heard of Intaste before.

Kayfun V4 thread, Intaste is easily the number one recommended vendor and I would say 75% of us purchased there.

SvoёMesto is свое место, Rus. - "my place" or "our place", "our own place" or "the usual place" by a small strech. The diacritical mark of two dots above the ё means, that the vowel is pronounced in a different way. In this case, the russian "e" is a "jo", simply put.

In addition to my v4, I ordered my twin KFL+'s from Intaste when they were nowhere to be found here in the States, and almost bought an Erlkonigin from them as well. Heard about them right here on this forum.

The nut was the least of the OP's issues, but that seems to be what everyone is focusing on.

Like I said before, I took pliers to mine too 'cause it wasn't coming off any other way: it's situated such that it's impossible to get a really good purchase on it with one's fingertips. In any case, it's my property and I know what I'm doing. I certainly wasn't going to send it back and wait God knows how long for another one that might well have had the same issue.

That's probably the one almost everyone else had...
I, for one, can't comment on other OP's issues, all was good. Have an issue? Leave it, contact the vendor, wait for reply. :2c:

You also state orings damaged and other stuff , so yea for almost 2 bills I would be asking "hey guys what gives here?" Not immediately going to town like its a 10 dollar fasttech clone and that's all I'm getting at

The O-ring was basically severed when I pulled it out to get at what I thought was a hair but turned out to be a sliver of steel about an inch long that was wrapped around said o-ring and still attached to the threading inside the 510 adapter. That was absolutely not my fault as the sliver of metal should not have been there in the first place when I'm paying as much money as I did. I baby all my gear cheap or expensive it doesn't matter. The nut getting nicked up was my mistake I admit but it shouldn't have been so tight to begin with in my opinion. No way it was "hand tight" which shows me right there that it wasn't even checked again after some machine tightened it down.

Bird Dog, I have no doubt you have had issues. I do have one reservation though, if this is a legit K4, not questioning your integrity in the least here. Any possibility of a pic? It's easy to discern a clone from an auth by the JC.

What's different? I'm curious, not being a jerk :). My two clones are different on a lot of parts, including that nut. The nut is much smaller on the Tobeco compared to the FT one.

I have yet to see any clone with a soft finish JC like the auth. I purchased a tobeco, yet to use or need it, just to compare to the auth. I buffed the SM logo off, tried to soften the JC ridges and it would take me a lot of time and patience to make look right. I've seen ephro, hotcig, etc, no one finished the JC like SM. I'm not saying those are bad units here either, just saying they look different and I can see it in a pic even.

I would like to buff the SM logos off. The Tobeco is not deep. The FT clone has much deeper engravings everywhere. My FT also has a polished finish and the Tobeco is brushed.

I see HCigar is offering both a no logo version and one with their logo as alternatives, but that wasn't available at the time I got these.

I have one Kayfun authentic and it came from InTaste. InTaste is all over the Kayfun threads and I've been told by many to buy from them.Ordered on a Sunday and was delivered on the following Wednesday in the USA. Perfect condition as Bronze will certainly vouch for and absolutely no machine oil. I would bet 99% of the people you mention own clones.
