First time I have heard of such issues with svoemesto. This is what happens with a large percentage of clones, not SM. And Americans cannot purchase direct from SM. I'm sure inTaste will make you whole. I have purchased all my Kayfuns from them and they have been an excellent vendor.

Oh yes we certainly can.

I personally buy my SM gear direct from the Russian site. Just don't expect 5 day shipping times.

If I really really can't wait I will only go to cloud9 then, as they fully honor all SM warranties and even have a SM subforum

The DE is a sattilite store not the direct link like everyone thinks

But yea I have to agree for what it costs I would never use pliers on it , I would have returned it fist

===edit=== CORRECTION:

I used the first link that turned up on google which too me to shop dot svoemesto dot de and that site did not have the vendor tab

Intaste is a reseller. They don't make them Svoemesto does.

"Intaste is a reseller" is a nice little group of 4 words that mean very little when you can just as easily order stuff directly from Svoemesto online.

It's ridiculous to order an item from a company named intaste in Germany when you could just as easily ordered the authentic item from the manufacturer Svoemesto in the same Germany, online, and then be questioning the authenticity of the product.

Am I missing something on Svoemesto's site, or would I have to go digging around searching nooks and crannies to find something on Svoemesto's website that would suggest to me that "Svoemesto" products sold by "Intaste" are supposed to be authentic "Svoemesto" products?

If you bought the product from a distributor local to your own area, I would understand, but you claim to have ordered the item online from Germany but instead of ordering it online from Svoemesto in Germany, you come up with this other company named "Intaste" when you could just as easily ordered it from Svoemesto. So why complain about authenticity?

When I see fasttech list their "authentic" Kangertech and their "authentic" Aspire items, I'm not going to assume that these items passed through kanger or aspire quality control or were packaged by kanger or aspire; I'm going to assume that the items came out from the same factories as extra stock .

This isn't like buying a car where you have to buy the car from a reseller who is buying multiple cars from the manufacturer.
You can order your kayfuns for kayfun pieces directly from Svoemesto, online, and it's not like they have minimum order of 10,100, or 1000, you can just order 1; I don't even see multiple/bulk purchase discount advertised.

Thanks for the replies guys. Just want to make it clear though that the pliers were used on the counternut not the AFC or any part that can be seen from the outside. It was the small ring type nut that tightens the tanks down to the base from the top before you add the top cap and drip tip. I also am not that stupid and did use a cloth in between but the pliers ripped through due to the extreme tightness of the nut and caused a bit of damage to the nut only and would have not caused any issues to the functioning of the tank had it arrived in a reasonable condition to begin with.

Easy guys.

In taste is a well known reputable seller, somehow QC at SM dropped the ball and in taste didn't catch it, don't care who you are a bad apple gets by sometimes

But it is on the OP for accepting it in said condition then trying to go all Texas chainsaw on it with tools.

After being abused no one has to accept responsibility now as the condition before surgery can't be proven.

Had the op opened the box, went well this sucks and contacted in taste I'm sure they would be responsive. With their reputation they still might, doubt it but who knows.

So stop escalating the mudslinging for no reason other than to argue.

Thrasher, I didn't know we could purchase from SM's Russian site!

Most people don't I found it by accident back in the day looking for a seller of something called a kayfun 2.1 lol funny how popular they are now.

They have an English option and some of the product videos are classy and look like Pixar made them. The guys a freaking genius and I'm a big fan, just like the inventor of the genesis, SM truely brought a new level to vaping

Are you able to use it in slim mode, where the nut isn't even needed or is the chimney too far gone?

edyl, Intaste are listed on SvoeMesto's site as an authorised reseller. SvoeMesto's German site does not ship outside the Eu.
Thrasher, I didn't know we could purchase from SM's Russian site!

1: Intaste listed on SvoeMesto's site?

I'll have to take your word for it; I don't see anything about authorized resellers and even using the search bar searching for 'intaste' or 'reseller' turns up nothing.

2: Site does not ship outside the EU!
That I see evidence of, thank you.
Lieferung
I can't read it, it's in German, but it looks like it lists EU countries.

I myself was seriously considering buying from Svoemesto more than a year ago in the early days and I don't remember how far I got but it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people actually attempt to buy authentic products from Svoemesto but end up giving up and buy clones instead!!!!!!!!!

I mean how would anybody know that they'd have to order the Svoemesto product from some other company by the name of "Intaste" ?????????

I really wish people would read what I wrote and quit assuming and making things up that are simply not true. The nut was too tight. Did you expect me to return it just because of that? The nut being slightly damaged had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the atty which was damaged to begin with or the threads that were damaged from attempting to use the genuine longmode adapter that was purchased from Intaste as well. I did no damage to any part other than the exterior of the nut and I was using needle nose pliers with a cloth in between so what more could I have done anyway?

Well, sattelite or not, the seller company on the box/invoice is SMtec GmbH, if ordered from the link posted earlier. That's as close as it gets. And they have nice SM tape :D

People are lazy and stupid. They don't want to read the thread but they want to yell at you for something that they are too lazy to understand.

Personally I would be angry, especially because I have a tobeco clone for 150 less that seems to have been manufactured to a better spec than an authentic. I would look for a complete refund and get a clone after that package. You paid for high quality and got something far from that.

C'mon, edyle, is this the "I haven't read the book, but by it's cover I can tell it's bad" story? ;)
Btw, what would you say the meaning of "SvoёMesto" is?
Have a vape, man :vapor:

You've got 10,000 posts, and give information like this? This is why I largely hate forums. You don't have a clue what you're talking about. You couldn't be more wrong. I feel sorry for this forum as a whole, that the members here have to put up with 10,000 posts of completely bad information(if this post is a representation of your other posts).

Youre posting in a thread about a Kayfun product, yet you don't know who Intaste is? Dude, stop. Go away. Go give you "wisdom" somewhere else, because you're clueless here.

Not trying to make anything up sorry if I read things out of context.
I got a 69 mod from vaperev once, the pins would not turn. Before trying to brute force anything I contacted them to ask if this is normal and what should I do.in case I needed to return it. You also state orings damaged and other stuff , so yea for almost 2 bills I would be asking "hey guys what gives here?" Not immediately going to town like its a 10 dollar fasttech clone and that's all I'm getting at

But I will grief you on using needle nose pliers instead of a wrench or socket :D

There are a couple videos, even busardo talked about things that seemed stuck when they actually open a diff way ( move this first twist that this way etc)

As for the SM site I'll warn you again lol if ya want it now go to cloud9 first then maybe check vaperev.cause I'm pretty sure Russia uses fasttechs postal service lol
