Maybe. It is a kin to the iphone of the vape world. It is a nice device but really doesn't do anything that much better than other cheaper devices. It just happens to have a following.

My 20 dollar evolve kick in a 20 dollar clone produces just as good of a vape. I don't own one but have tried it at a vape shop. Sans adjusting the power. There is no discernable difference. It is a nice device though.


If it holds its value in 5 to 10 years remain to be seen. I would not pay normal price for a v1 when the p3 is out.

The Provari will hold its value, but the China junk clones won't.

hum..... the landscape just changed..... One of the biggest challenges for US companies wanting to protect their patents, trademarks, and copyrights has been that they couldn't enforce the US laws against the Chinese clone/counterfeit scum-bags.....

Alibaba is now a public traded company in the US and now subject to US laws.....going to be interesting.....

Power statement? I don't care about a mech. I have no use for them. Prove me wrong about Provari not holding it's value? Prove me wrong about their quality and safety features. Nothing ignorant as there are no china clones which can hold their value.

Really interesting. From what I understand China does not allow foreigners to buy in to their companys. A shell company was made in the Cayman Islands for people to buy into and then the shell buys the stock. If you have ever known anyone to start up a shell company in the cay man's the us tax code frowns on it. If you don't report it correctly on your taxes their is heavy penalties.

Not sure how this will qualify. That's why it is so interesting.

I am not pro clone. My beef is 200 bucks when a comparative tube can be made for 20 bucks.......There is something wrong.

here is whats wrong.
in China you can make that tube for 5 dollars or less.
that is because China is over developing as part of their attempt to become
and remain an economic force rivaling western economies.
they have a glut of raw materials and cheap manpower.
they will make and sell anything anywhere at any price point and quality standard you want.

from a strictly consumer stand point that is good.
from a national economic stand point not so good for us.
barring any future trade agreements with the Chinese the
next global war will be about what we are discussing here
along with other things.

I can't argue that. China is where we're not so many years ago. Once labor unions and such hit. If ever, their views are much different than ours in almost everything. In a global economy who is right and who is wrong depends on where one is planted. Some of this could be alleviated if the import/export agreements change.

A lot of China would love usa products. Chinese government would hate it.

I get an odd taste from PRC metal drip tips, which is why I threw out all the ones which came with Protanks- back during the PT2days, and replaced them with US made drip tips; no taste whatsoever from Cherry Vape tips. Definitely worth the $20...

To me any product is only worth what the buyer is willing to pay. I do think the logos should not be used on clones. Other than that it's up to the buyer. It's not my money so I have no say in the matter. I don't collect PVs. In 18 months I've only had a couple spinners, a Vamo V2 (retired), and now the XPV DNA 30. Why did I spend just over $200 on the XPV? I could say it was the build quality, the warranty (DOA on the bat, 90 days on the build and 1 year on the internals). The great customer service and it's made in the USA. That all sounds familiar. Those things are just extras to me. I was willing to pay the price because it has the Evolv DNA 30 and the form factor fit what I was looking for in a PV and I wanted it. The fact that it's not a clone had nothing to do with it.
