Hiding up a tree
I did come in to this thread to read about the vape Summit, but upon reading the first post I had to check that I had clicked on the correct link...

It seems to be more of a vaping equivalent of "I cannot believe that every time I am standing at a urinal and I happen to glance at other men's appendages I am shocked to find that my genitals seem vastly bigger than theirs"

OP, please could you refrain from blowing your own trumpet and let us know more about the vape Summit experience, what things stood out for you, innovations that you saw, amazing juices you sampled etc etc

Op, you invited all readers to comment on the thread when you posted it. That's the way forums work. In fact, it's one of the definitions of the word "forum."

As it pertains to vape cons, as long as you put it in the rules ahead of time, feel free to enforce it. It's your gig.

As previously mentioned, the Hex Ohm is pretty much made with off the shelf parts that anybody can easily get. There is nothing original about it. It works great, but there is no "design." Well, maybe the logo. They did design that.

OP, it seems to me that you parrot a lot of information that you were told by people that want your money. Now rest assured, your collection of authentic gear FAR,FAR,FAR surpasses mine, and that's a fact. It likely surpasses every single member of this forum. You win in that regards. But I don't see the correlation between that, and knowledge. At least not as it applies to the topic at hand. Didn't you just unknowingly recommend the FUhattan in another thread, not knowing that it's a clone?

And finally, I own 6 authentic mods, and 5 authentic RDA's, but I have no idea who the heck that dude in Long Beach is, and I don't even care enough to Google it. Does that mean I should give them up for adoption and just go back to clones? I just want to be clear on what your/the rules are.

I unfortunately did not get to attend the Vape Summit last weekend as I had my boy with me, but it's interesting and refreshing to hear that the whole "vape thing" is apparently getting some much needed attention. Whether you're in it for the cloud chasing, flavor chasing, mod collecting, or like me, using it to quit analogs completely,(hopefully) there's always room for lively discussion obviously...

I don't own any mods yet, couldn't tell an authentic from a decent clone, but the more I educate myself by reading theses posts and checking out other folk's hardware choices, watching videos, I see that I could in short order make an educated guess on what would work for me. With my semi-dangerous knowledge of electronics and machining, building sensible coils and modifying what's already out there ain't a stretch for me in the near future.

Local B&M I went to yesterday for my juice had an awesome looking Mutation X(IIRC) full setup in copper that sure was purty.... The counter dude was putting it in the show case with gloves on after polishing it up. But knowing I could tarnish it up in no time makes me think stainless or some other base material would be a better choice for me! :D

Anyway, back to the summit.. would have loved to have gone to check it out. I can't find more than a couple of flavors that I like: Espresso from here in College Station, and a Black Cherry from a place in Cedar Park, TX and would have loaded up on juices just to keep from burning out my taste buds on those two faves...

So TYGER! If your offer still stands for a decent juice sample or two from your swag bag from Vape Summit, Yes, I would gladly take it/them off your hands! We're in the same town. Hell, I might even learn a thing or two about authentic mods from ya...I hear a lot of chat about the "best flavors" people rave about, but hell, I hate to pull the trigger ordering something I've never tried and ending up with flavors that sit in the corner and don't get used..
