Well, based on juices and clearos I've been using, I sometimes felt it needed a little more power, or was getting to much.... I start with a guess and work from there. While I am hardly an expert, I would not start at the highest setting, due to possible damage to coils. I think 3.8v is a good starting point, as that is SI's recommendation.

If it tastes burnt, take it down. If the vape or flavor is too weak, dial it up a little at a time. I can do calcs on resistance & voltage, but it is all about the flavor and vapor in the end.

Quick question on charging the spinner. When I first attached it to charge, a little light on the charger flashed and alternated red and green. When I got home, it was solid green. Is solid green on the charger an indicator that the battery is fully charged?

fully charged...you bet.
start using it.

Yes. I got my purple 900 today and it was almost fully charged but I put it on to fully charge... the charger alternated between red and green.. then steady red. In a matter of minutes, the colors flickered a little then solid green. It didn't take long at all and I am now totally enjoying it.

UPDATE INFO: I have been using my preferred setup... Volt spinner, set at 4.0 with freshly cleaned clearo with favored flat tip containing Niquid's newer flavor... Sinnamon 12mg. Flavor and TH is outstanding!! Vapor.. LOTS!! The very warm sweetness and slight bite to the tongue is amazing. I already liked this flavor in the sample size, enough to order the 30ml size that came today with my beautiful purple 900 spinner. Having this liquid in the X2 clearo powered by the new Volt spinner is A++++!! :thumb:

SI made the absolute best decision to add this to their already great lineup of excellent products!!

Well done SI!!

Received my 900mah Spinner. After letting it thaw out, here's my first take.
Using it with a 2 month old, but very clean and dry, then filled clearo -
3.3v - no throat hit, as much vapor as I get from my best auto
3.7-3.9v - decent throat hit, vapor amount equaling my manual
4v+ - the taste becomes very sugar like, throat hit is sharp(high pitched, overcooked? hard to explain, but it's terrible. I've had hits like that before on auto's and manuals, and it usually meant they were flooded.)

It appears to have a cut-off on long hits. The light will start flashing quickly after 8 or 9 seconds. My manual doesn't do that.

The 900mah with a clearo is about [ ] <-- that much longer than a 650mah with a T3.

Overall, it's good for me. No more weak weak hitting auto's:)

Yes, that means its charged. One thing though, you shouldn't charge batteries when your not home.

Great! back in business.

Good news is my 650 spinner took less than 5.5hrs to charge @0.75amps.
Bad news, regardless of amps (0.5, 0.75, 0.8, 1.5) my manual 650 & 900 take, 8-10 hours to fully charge. I guess luck of the draw.

Really liking the spinner, looking forward to see how long this little 650 lasts off of a full charge. Attached to a little CE3, I'm running only 3.5v on it.... Going through juice like you wouldn't believe :).

I have also found I like T3 @ 4.4v & clearos @ 4.0-4.2v. :D.
I know I said I have enough HW, but a 1300 spinner in baby blue sounds really good right now. :D

Received my spinner today. First impressions are that I really like them. I think they are better than the ego twist. I love that there are 4 markings and that it is very easy to read, especially with the nice red line to indicate the current setting.

As someone who loves the larger 900mah and 1300mah batteries, I really like that they made the 1300mah comparable in length to the 650 and made it thicker instead.

Only thing weird for me is that the dial goes in the opposite direction as the ego twist

so, an I understanding this right....the spinner 900 and 1300s are not longer than the 650, just fatter?

I like longer ones but not fatter :(

Any pics to show the 3 in comparison?

It's longer, but not nearly as long as the 1300 x2 and it is much shorter than the ego twist 1000mah. It is very close to the length of the 900mah x2
