how long will the ego battery last? i know it depends on how much you use it but do you have an estamate

An eGo batt lasts me all day, however I switch back and forth between other devices, so it's hard to give a good estimate. You can also purchase the 900 mAh batts for the eGo. They last longer than the standard eGO batt.

I ordered mine from liberty-flights.com

Their prices are very reasonable and shipping is only $3- plus, they have a 20% discount going on right now. They're in the UK and I thought shipping would take a while, but I received my order in four days. They've got all kinds of colors to choose from, as well. I went with pink for the XL batt and cone I ordered. :2cool:

Their starter kits are here:

There are 2 eGo batteries. A 650 mAh and a 900 mAh with the 650 being most common.

The standard 510 battery = 180 mAh
The mega 510 battery = 300 mAh

I use a 2400 mAh battery which lasts me all day, or 18 hours. A standard 510 would last me 25-40 minutes. A mega 510 would last me almost 2 hours.

I'm classified as a very heavy vapor to most.

So while most folks can go all day on eGo, it would not make it for me, but it is a good battery life by any measure.

what type of atomizers should i get?

Since throat hit, TH, is important to you, I'd suggest getting some back up Joye 510 attys and a couple of Joye 510 LR attys. Get the hang of the regular Joyes then blow out and season a LR. The LR should produce a bit more vapor, but it gives a warmer hit so a bit more TH. Some folks have trouble getting the LR working well in the beginning and the standards seem to have less of a learning curve.

Your next step is finding a juice that works for you.

I've never been a cart guy for that reason alone. Although I still get some juice while dripping every once in a while, it happens much less. People swear by carts though. You can modify them and make them work better from what I understand. Do a search on the forum if that interest you. I've just always been a fan of dripping. Little bit of a pain, but it taste best to me.

I started out with automatic batteries with cartomizers from V4L. But once I got the eGo, I haven't looked back. The manual works just fine, the battery life is excellent, and I have learned how to drip efficiently, and it gives the best flavor/th/vapor. Love it. I still have my automatic with carts for backup, but I find that as long as I have an atomizer for each flavor, the eGo is my fav.

Chalie, dripping is when you have an atomizer and a cartridge separately (the standard, as opposed to a cartomizer), and you drip liquid straight onto the atomizer. It's a stronger hit and cleaner. You have to do it more often though, since you don't want to flood the atty. I usually will just drip about 3 drops onto the atty, soak the cartridge, and vape about as much as a cig would have been back in the day before I need to drip again.

this site you gave me the kit oly comes with 1 atomizer, the other site came with 2 atomizers for same price

Yeah, the full kit may not be the best price around. Plus, they include prefilled cartos, which I personally wouldn't really care to get. Like you, I'd rather have another atty.

I just figured up how much it would be to just order the kit a la cart, though. Not a bad deal.

2 Black eGo 510 - Cone $2.79 $5.58
1 Joye eGo Black eGo 650mAh Battery $19.49
1 Joye eGo XL 900mAh Battery $21.49
1 Joye 510 & eGo eGo 510 - USB Fast Charger $7.49
2 Low Resistance Joye 510 Atomizers $17.98

Total $72.02
-20% $14.40
=$57.62
Plus Shipping $3

Grand total $60.62

There may be a better deal elsewhere, but at least going a la cart, you can start out with a 900mAh battery. For what I listed here, I did one of each.

18, i watch like 4 vids on how to fill the carts, and i always get juice in my mouth, and have to hit it like 6 times be4 it starts working right

I used to overfill my cartomizers and spit juice for like the first week. Then I figured out they hit best when kept moist with 6-12 drops instead of trying to dump a 10 ml bottle in it right off the bat. There is a learning curve to these!
