I rotate through 3 and alternate eGo with my Prodigy - so each of my batteries probably sees about 10% use over time.

If a single battery lasts 90 days of continuouis use, sounds like a good deal to me- cost average in the neighborhood of, 20 cents a day ... that's less than the cost of 1/2 a cigarette in NY City - I spend alot more on juice :) - you probably fried the chip inside, before the battery went-

... since they draw more current, you probably run the risk of overheating the chip easier. I wouldn't say shortening the life span but probably a higher risk of sudden death do to overheating..... that said, I haven't had any problems using 1.5 ohm atties and if/when I do, it owes me nothing.

update: just caught this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...105-one-atomizer-killed-my-ego-batteries.html
guess LR's do exceede the max current drain on the eGo...
well- I'm still sticking with LR's ....

Mid March till now for me. Killed one bat. I ordered the un-warrantied 5 pack fro totall-wicked... Cheap+2!

I only keep two in rotation. Keep the others back for future. I did order a new XL EGO bat. for testing. WooHoo!!! Longer, much longer vaping, and not the drop off of the regular bat.

Many have said the EGO doesn't drop off, But I can detect a definite difference in vapor after a couple of hours on the EGO bat. Especially in the last hour.

We'll see on the new XL

I do have a PureSmoker Prodigy V-3 coming. I'm really looking forward to my first mod! That should really have some life!

The two manual ones that came with the kit in Feb died in mid-July....Didn't they say somewhere that batterys are usually good for about 300 re-charges? So, for me that was good....I use LR attys so I expect a shorter battery life....Comes with the territory...
P.S. Bought a 5-pack of auto Ego batteries in March and all but one of them are dead and gone....Didn't like the auto ones at all.....Just me.....

It is impossible to say how long a battery will last. especially an Ego battery. Most likely a lifespan will mimic that of a 510 battery which is normally about 6 months or so.

3 months is not unheard of. Since they are like 18 bucks most places now, it is not a bad deal Imo for all the usage ppl get out of them.
