Avocado 24 help

Hey all,
My first RTA arrived and I popped a dual clapton (0.25) 6 wraps build, vaping on 65-70w, the only thing is this thing is drinking juice like a camel, what can I do to stay with the same flavor level and drink less juice?

You may not like my answer but running a single coil
will cut consumption in half. That's what I do and the thing still
eats the juice. You can watch the level drop.

Like @Hitmetwice said, single coil or try making higher ohm coils.

What the others have already said..... Single coil, build at higher ohms, or decrease your vape wattage.

I use a .2 ohm single coil stapled clapton on my Avocado 24 and it still drinks a lot of juice. I vape between 60 - 80 watts.

I do not wick my cotton into the tank. I cut the cotton tails just above the juice holes. You do have to tip the tank to feed the juice into the wick. For me, this is no biggie because I tilt my tank to vape anyways. (Picture drinking out of a bottle)

I find this wicking method does consume less juice because there is no cotton in the tank to take up space or soak up all of the juice in the tank.

You're vaping at a high wattage...expect juice gluttony.

Yea but lower wattage is a very cool vape or doesn't even heat the coils

SS316L spaced. Ohm at about 0.6. 7wraps. 4mm. Single coil.

Watts approx 45 to 50.

Might help a bit. Flavor on the SS is still really good.

Avocado is a decent tank, but it is not a genisis by any means. That classification has been thrown around incorrectly when these rdta tanks came on the scene

That's a really good suggestion. Or get those big bottles "non-premium" juice. They are just as good.

I also find that I consume less juice with my Goon 24 compared to the Avocado and Limitless RDTA Plus.

I think the flavor is much better. It is a huge coil with a lot of surface area.

Lower power (resistance in itself isn't the thing to focus on), you really can't decrease your liquid consumption in any other way (except vaping less frequently).

Lower coil mass will require less power.
