Aw imr 18650 losing charge

Bought a lavatube kit from volcano not even a week ago. Charged it once every night. before the problem I was getting all day vaping, from 630am to about 1130 pm and the charge read out would be around 3.5 to 3.4 each night. Now when I charge it, with in half hour it would drop to 4 volt . Then in another hour 3.9, half hour later 3.8volts . Its a brand new battery that came with the kit....

Should I try to drain it to the shut off point and recharge? I'm clueless, volcano people are saying it will cut off at 3.3.. I'm awaiting on a new batt I ordered and already talked to customer service and they want me to (if I wanted) send it in to indirect it. Open to suggestions...

Out of curiosity have you ran it down yet? Did you check it after several hours to see where it was? Again, Just curious.

Never ran it down past 3.4..... Just tonight from full charge I used it about 3 hours and it dropped to 3.7 volts

Lavatube seems to take a lot of battery juice, especially at higher voltages. I usually change mine out 3-4 times a day, and I have seen no difference with any of the IMRs I have here new or old.

Have you changed anything? (Ie how much you're actually vaping or the voltage?) I know you can vape a whole lot more and not even realize it. I really don't have another answer. If you're using it pretty heavily at higher voltages, I'd say the life you are getting now sounds about right.
