I don't really "need" them, I suppose. I just prefer to not have to press the button down so far. My flat top MNKE's do work just fine, I just have some paranoid perception that I should avoid putting undue excess pressure on the firing bar.

So far the AW 1600's are still my favorites. I'll be giving these 20R's a go tomorrow, or tonight maybe :)

I was thinking of drilling and tapping the bottom of button and putting a set screw in it to adjust the throw. I don't like the long throw with flat tops either.

just PM, he just replied (amazing service btw). In any case it won't be shipped until Tuesday upon my request

Guys, help me here, poll then

White body / black
tumbled all
tumbled / black door?

You're asking for "taste" input?

Here's some practical thoughts. Although it takes some elbow grease, you can remove the paint or annodization from a REO. It's harder to add color. The popular - can't go wrong - colors are the black wrinkle, hammered, silver and copper vein, the tumbled, and the silver hammered.

Having not seeing one in person i don't know what to expect regarding finishing (i mean, paint job, quality of the paint itself)

I kinda prefer somber colors (black, silver, gray, white), the two color i truly despise are gold and purple. My dislike for those is so extreme that it has come to this:

Wife: you are to be loyal to me!
Me: so long as you don't wear those damn shoes!

Well.. I'm staying with White / Black for now, just from a little variation from all silver / metallic mods I have around

weak moment...

maybe... VV Reo next (after GGTS, couple months down the road)

I know i wont be a reo only type of guy, i switch flavor way too much, i normally vape 4 to 6 flavors at once (10 mins this one, 20 that one, etc)

Committing 6 ml at a time aint for me and god knows i am not going to (afford) buy 6 reos + rm2s!

Im also getting interested in a hybrid dripper, i just haven't seen one for 18650 batteries

I just rather keep a few of the 6ml bottles with the different flavors on me or I pour the juice back into my juice bottle and fill it up with the new flavor. Within 10 drags the flavor has completely changed over. That is why I love cotton wicks, they don't seem to retain the flavor of the old juice at all.

Not trying to affect anyone's thinking, just been looking for a place to mention this.

My need for multiple flavors has diminished proportionate to the satisfaction I get from gooseboxing. That said, I have 2 Grands for everyday use, and here's how I "multiflavor":

#1 has my Lemonade ADV. I can drip the following into it (w/out changing juice bottles) for excellent flavor variations and combinations: Neptune (blueberry/graham), Pink Dragon, Grapefruit, Mint, and Blue Voodoo

#2 has my Absynthe/Licorice. I can drip on top with Mint or Blue Voodoo. Also, here, I can switch bottles to Cola (surprisingly) and back with only pleasant flavors in transition.

These also happen to be all the flavors I like these days.

I'm dripping unflavored WTA in my Mini 2.1 right now. It's got HHV Heavenly Army in the tank. My Copper Grand has BB and I drip Gorilla Juice in it sometimes. Green Grand has Pluid in it, I drip Agent Orange and Maha Ra in it. The secret is keeping juices in groups that are compatible. I keep my GoTo juices in the bottles and don't drip anything on them that will mess them up. It's just as good as dripping on a tube and if I'm driving or something I can quickly squonk. I've still got 4-5 tubes to convert to boxes but I'm slowly getting to tubeless.

I say good call on the white.. I think it looks sweet!

Nice looking coil too.. have to wonder who that is ;)

thank you, went with white / black on it, all smoking-like and stuff

;)

need to get some kanthal 27, for some reason I can only find 26 for like 3x the price if shipped from the USA

one or two less warps i guess

btw, if you have a tumbled REO, check the voltage drop, i'm thinking (from the pictures at least) that it must be a better performer than the painted ones (I'm guessing that there are two weak points for current flow in the design)

i will for sure tinker with mine and post pics / results. although at the end of the day all i care is the taste first, but i also like hot / warm vapor delivered fast (as little warming up time as possible)

My Reo Grand is gold. Didn't particularly care what color it was (got it in the classifieds), just not pink. With the abuse it will withstand while in my hands it will soon look like Pdib's Pinky anyway. Used it while drywalling the last couple of days leaving mud and dust all over it. Simple wash, rewick, and fill up....good to go! Love the simplicity, durability, and reliability of this device that affords me the flavor richness of dripping with out fiddling! Advice on color...just get one!!:2c::thumb:

Add: +1 for AW IMR 1600s.
