WHOOOOOPEEEEE! (you pee?) Play time, no sleep. :)

Still just the one atty :p

I wanna give it a good bath anyways.. though it doesn't really appear to need it. The guy I traded with kept this thing in tip top shape, might as well be brand new, Not a hint (seriously, I was surprised) of any kind of juice odor.

The rest of the clan will be here soon, I'm sure :D

Stats, they look great! You sanded those or stripped the paint? Looks like a tumbled finish which I assume is how they all start off with from deburring in a tumbler. Wish I could get a tumbled finish just by hand sanding. I have to use an actual tumbler to get that finish.

Well no MNKEs for Grand, they don't work...... I have a button cover on it & have it set low, button doesn't have enough travel to make contact with the flat top battery. I pulled the button cover up a bit & still not enough travel. My Grand only has a 1.0 ohm coil anyway so I don't see any benefit using MNKEs over the AW 1600s. Maybe I'll try some other time. At this point I like the MNKEs but I'll continue to buy the 1600s.

Naw, I didn't do any refinishing. I traded my EA for a silver Grand. I was playing musical doors :D

Honestly I can't tell if it's tumbled or.. something else

Looks pretty well tumbled to me, I suppose

Yes, exactly like mine before the polish.

Yours looks brand new. Well cared for or barely used. Either way, a win win for you. Congrats.

Haha, I was thinking to myself, how the heck did he simulate a tumbled finish by hand! That's nearly impossible!

I'm pretty sure all the metal Reo start out as tumbled. Tumbling deburs all the sharp edges which saves a lot of labor having to debur by hand or machine chamfers. But like with knife makers, I tumble only to get the tumbled (aka stonewashed) finish.

Damn I may have to get a tunbled Grand next. I love stonewashed finishes.

well u guys got me on the fence again. i been vapin .6ohms with new aw imr 18490s not cuttin it. maybe 2hrs vape time last night i heard about and decided to buy the mnke 1500s from avid vapor. funny rtd has 1300 and from what i could find mnke doesnt make a 1300. all i could find on their site was the 18650 at 1500mah and 26650 at 4000. so back to decision time mnke or aw 1600....probably still gonnna do mnke at 15bucks each? seems to be the choice of subohmers.

I'm vaping a wee bit less (time wise) since I got my REOs a few months ago because I'm now getting a very satisfying and consistent vape as opposed to the hit and miss I used to get with all the tank systems. However, I'm vaping more volume per toot than ever before......and lovin' it.
