I made my first trip to my local vape shop, just about 10 minutes away. And I walked in just to look around and ended up sitting with 10 others watching football. It was a great atmosphere and the talk was 50% vape 50% football. The owner even gave everyone free samples to try and it was awesome. Does anyone else have a vape shop around them with such an awesome atmosphere? I will definitely be going back and giving them my business.

I though my local shop ruled, but you guys have it great!

When I stop at my local shop, I mostly end up closing the place but the talk is mostly vaping oriented and they always want to build something a little wild - not in the low ohm's range, but just crazy stuff... the other day we tried rebuilding an aspire BDC with Japanese cotton and a single 0.8 ohm coil. (Too hot and doesn't wick fast enough! go for more ohms.)

I give them some ideas for publicity and feedback on their juices and they often give me free samples and reductions on prices. They readily admit I'm a bit more knowledgeable on Ohm's law and look at me to make sure their statement is correct when serving a new builder and often get me to chime in when explaining advanced stuff and I meet a lot of great people on both sides of the counter.

I already suggested getting a couch, juice of the month and matching vapes with drinks, but I'll definitely tell them about the football idea (more likely hockey over here, though). I know they're looking into having outdoors events in front of the shop but that will wait for next summer.

Absolutely. Two shops in my area are like a great coffeehouse atmosphere. You know, the Cheers thing. The other is a robot satellite store with a TV. And you can't watch the TV unless you have vape competition trophies and have spent $1000 at said store. That place sucks. Unless you want cutting edge stuff. Or a Provari.

The other two places encourage the "hangout" atmosphere. Odd you mention sports. The first time I went into what became my favorite shop, it was the same exact thing, but they were BS'ing about baseball, and vaping.

You are so right. A cool shop really makes you want to continue, because you don't feel so all alone. :)
