After follwing the posts on ECF for a while, I have been spoiled by the prices it seems. I went to a B&M yesterday for a quick fix on some juice, and their prices were ridiculous! Out of the 3 brands of pre-package fluids they liked I only liked 1, and it was mediocre at best... but figured I would try it just to hold me over for a week. Turns out they wanted $15 for a 15ml bottle of it. I left it at the store. But, as I was there I was looking at some of their mods etc... they had a clone of the iTaste VV 3.0 for $99 I just bought the itaste for my wife for $35. I now understand why so many people still haven't switched over from analogs. If the only thing they see is at B&M's like this, they will never want to buy.

$99 for a set up.. A few weeks worth of cigarettes at $8 a pack.
Paying overhead at a store employees, taxes, etc.. Etc.. If it has any problems take it back and have real time discussions about issues.. At some places not all..
Say it breaks in 2 months. $99 + saved from not smoking..

As far as the price in juice you quoted.i would Go buy somewhere else..
;)

I live in San Diego too... but on travel and not around. I know which shop your talking about, and I haven't quite made it into that B&M yet. I've been going to Vapor Meister in Lakeside for the most part. Good folks there, but this was more a rant about that one particular place.

The juice at VM is fairly reasonably priced, and their prices are more apt to what you would think a normal markup might be. I just can't understand how a B&M can stay in business charging prices 3x higher than you could get on the internet.

It was like that in my local area too for a while, but in the last year, there's been no shortage of stead competition popping up everywhere...and the prices have come down to reasonable. Expect to pay more at a B&M, because of the bills a B&M incurs above just a web based seller...but those prices you mentioned are ridiculous.

People say they like to support their local B&M...and I couldn't agree more! That's why I called mine and told them their prices were too high! I'm always happy to help!
