My grams had a special teacup she used only for making them. Her skill was pretty amazing....she could make a dozen cut spooned and folded before you knew it.
It's like she was on granny crack.
I'm trying to remember what my gram used to cut them. I think it was also a cup. She was also amazingly speedy. Thinking about my Gram....she would be 120 years old. YIKES. Geez - I can't be this old.
My Yiaya (Grandma) made Kourambiethes, Melomakarona and Loukoumades. I know, it's a mouth full, but they are amazing and worth every bite. Pres. Carter and Reagan loved her Baklava. There was an aide from Fresno and both would always tell him don't forget to bring back Annie's Baklava.
whiskey, just snagged a reo mini too, so I am super excited.

good morning everyone. Hows the Crew been? Finally back from my longer than expected trip to FL to visit a few old friends, and help one of them build a new roof. Great way to get a nasty sunburn by the way, even with SPF50 slathered all over the place. I have a TON of reading to do to get caught up, so I'm off to work on that little problem. Managed to cram a ton of hard work and a ton of fun and good times into one week. It was a pretty great week. But I was originally only planning on being gone 5 days. The crazy weather here in PA monday and tuesday kept me from being able to fly home as scheduled. I can think of worse fates than two extra days in a beach town in Florida though, so yeah, it wasn't so bad. LOL
