Thanks a Million Mike I really appreciate it and may just have to take you up on the offer. We got a letter from him today and from what he is saying during rifle week the guy next to him had his rifle blow up on him and he cause some of it in the head, face and eye but he didnt go into to much detail other than he is on meds cause he has been having migraines and siezures from it. The wife is about to lose it.

I can imagine she is. :grr: I was less than pleased at how they treated my Mom when I was injured in the desert. They did pretty much the same "SOP" (standard operating proceedure) to her, made her worry and didn't tell her shi%

We are trying to get answers but no one is giving us any info, its all a big runaround and they dont say nothing, 2 second phone calls and thats it. We are worried they are gonna release him while we are down there and he get stuck heading home with no key or anything. We may just end up driving over there the day we get down there and busting some heads cause I want answers and not a freaking snow job like the Govt is synonomous for.

Needless to say my stress level is about a 50 on a 1 to 10 scale and this week is not going well.

So sorry to hear that and hoping its not too serious. They way they are handling it is unacceptable. My thoughts go out to you and your family hoping he gets well soon and you get the info you well deserve.

Don, the American Red Cross maybe able to get your wife in "contact" with him sooner. If he's still in the hospital they may even offer to fly her there at no costs to you or her. They did for my Mom and Dad for me...

Also.....I've heard of congressmen, assemblymen and senators helping unravel that bureaucratic red tape. My best wishes for your son and family.

Amen to that! My Mom is the sweetest woman you'd ever want to know...but let someone stand between her and I when I'm hurt and they better be wearing Kevlar from head to toe!

They have no clue. You know the saying about dynamite and small packages, well at 4'11" there is a boatload of TNT in that package and after 18 years married I think I know what she is capable of, HOPEFULLY
