Normally as your "out processing" you have all of them in your hands to deliver to the "outprocessing facility" if its the same in the corp as the USAF. I just detourred to an office and made copies of EVERYTHING..before I turned them in...

Don, this link has the info on where to get copies of your Son's records if he can't get them before out processing. Getting a Copy of Your Military Records, Page 2

His local VA Rep can also request them. Or he/you can go online for the request form...

Fill out the Standard Form 180 (SF180) and send it in...

Going to Myrtle beach. The intention was to be there for the Sons graduation from Paris Island basic training but he was injured when a gun blew up so he is being medically discharged. We are waiting to here when they are gonna send him home and the best they can tell us is we will be notified 24hrs before he leaves within the next 7 to 14 days so there is a chance he may get released while we are in Myrtle Beach and they claim we cant even pick him up he has to be put on a bus home so things are a little stressed right now and they wont even disclose any info as to what extent his injuries are. While I support the Troops the way they handle stuff is a joke.

Don, I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope everything works out for the best, my thoughts and prayers are with you, your son and your family.
