Bad 1st experience with FastTech

So I ordered a 100 ml bottle of mentol elquid. It came in 7 days to the Midwest which I thought was really fast. I was really excited and then I tried the juice... I cant even describe what it tastes like. Its like a burnt/unflavored taste, but even that tells no justice. There is absolutely no mentholly taste or coolness or sweetness to it. I was thinking maybe they meant a tobacco menthol flavor but even that doesnt seem right. There are 3 reviews for the product that describe it as being like vicks vapor rub (I wish it was like that). fasttech's return policy doesnt cover it because its a consumable and Ive opened it. What should I do? Should I even submit a ticket/complaint? Im pretty disappointed as this was my first order and I want to order more.

I also got 10 CE4 clearos, 10 EVODS, and a needle tip plastic dispenser container. All of it is very low quality. The dispenser thing has a stretched out rubber piece that is supposed to go over the needle tip. The clearos o-rings are all crooked and warped, the drip tips screw on crooked, and the threads dont feel right. The evods dont produce vapor like the ones I bought at altsmoke.

This is why we recommend sampler packs. 90% of the time, people don't like juice from ANY SOURCE. Why you make this a FT issue is silly. And why you ordered an untested 100 mils is perplexing. Finding a good juice is the hardest part of vaping, imho. I struggled mightily, switched to DIY and it still took months to get it down. Nothing easy about finding a good juice. Also, I've heard decent things about Hangsen and Liqua, and a real mixed reaction toward Dekang. Which brand did you use and what flavor? Taste is totally subjective, and the same juice tastes different to everybody. I wish you well, but that an awful lot of untested juice. Try some domestic sampler packs first. The tobacco's don't taste like smokes, no matter what you get, though, some can get you in the same solar system. Wish you the best! Sampler packs, sampler packs, sampler packs!!!

I've been vaping about 2.5 years and I would never buy more than 60ml of even my favorite juice.

Perhaps I'm making an unfair assumption, but I think juice is the last thing I'd order from FT... especially 100 ml.
Can't agree with Bill enough... samples, samples, samples.

I'm finding out flavors I thought I'd like (even from high-end, highly rated companies)... in reality not so much... but I've found a few that I LOVE LOVE LOVE and went back and purchased bigger bottles.

I think for the most part you can never TRUST the flavor of anything until you've tried it yourself. One man's ceiling is another man's floor.

It was $8 for 100 ml. I've never had a menthol juice I didnt like from anywhere. The problem is, it isnt menthol at all, zilch, nada. Its like an unflavored juice. It says "ehealth cigarette" on the bottle.

Sorry for your exoerience but why would you want to order anything else from them? get small bottles of any juice. Most of it from anyone isnt going to be what you like.. It is definately a hunt to find good juice.. that you like.. Id pour the stuff out nad get to ordering small bottles from a variety of vendors to find what you iike.. Ive had fasttech juices and I wasnt impressed but some ppl are.. Cheap isnt always good.. No vendor is going to give a refund however.

At least you received it in a fair amount of time. I've been waiting 41 days for my 1st order to arrive. I chose the free shipping option, as the order was only ~$5. I actually upgraded the shipping of my 2nd order, and it arrived within 14 days. I've sent a second support ticket. Awaiting response.

As stated, 100ml of unknown e-liquid is an invitation for disappointment.

If you paid with PayPal or used a PayPal-funded debit card, you can always file a dispute and get a refund. It's a last resort, but it can produce results.

yep as bill and vape nerd said, never buy juice untested in such large quantities. maybe the bottle needs to be shaken? although even if separated, it should still smell of menthol. maybe you got a 100ml bottle of unflavored? in that case, buy some flavors from a DIY vendor or go to a hobby or bakers supply store and get some flavoring to add to it.

as to the clearos/evods you bought - almost every thread i've read on this site about fasttech's clearos and evods say the performance on them is spotty, at best. best to stick to the mods and drippers - clone and otherwise - from FT. anything that has an actual name brand from there should be good (if it says kanger or innotech, it's real). for everything else, consider it a clone or knockoff. but there has definitely been commentary about their cheapo clearos and evods.

the CE4s i guess you'll just have to deal with unless you decide to send them back. at least the heads on the evods can be recoiled/rewicked so they should perform better than they do now.

fasttech is great if you know what you're looking for, can avoid the bad product mistakes others have made and posted about, and can deal with the wait from china. i'm more than happy with the stuff i've gotten from them, and the cheaper crap i got from them, well, i knew it was cheap going in, so didn't expect much for the minimal amount i spent.

Quick fix, while I know it's not really an excellent way to prevent this happening again, it'll still get you some use from that bottle: Get a $2.79 packet of menthol crystals from MFS or MBV and add some in. As long as the liquid has nicotine in it and no other bizarre taste, that'll give you a nice, clean menthol flavor and you're still only paying about $10 for a 100ml bottle. Ten cents a milliliter is approaching the price point of DIY liquids without the hassle, really.

I must be unusual reading the above posts but my Evods from FT have been excellent. Bought replacement Evod heads (stocking up) - also excellent. Bought Liqua e-liquid - very nice indeed, esp the Cherry and the Apple. In fact I've had no problems with anything I've got from them - it's just been a whole lot cheaper than it would have been elsewhere.

at $8 100 mls don't think I would have expected it to be good

On another note, my VAMO V3 order status changed to packaging today so I really hope it arrives with no issues.

I have never seen just a bottle of menthol flavor (or any bottle marked flavor) that was intended for vaping. Its generally use as an additive to an already mixed bottle of juice and in very low quantities. I bought some of the same menthol you said and I made a green apple menthol for my buddys wife this morning. I put .2ml in a 10ml bottle and I could barely taste the apple under the menthol. Point is this specifically says FLAVOR and no where does it state it is ejuice with pg/vg ratios $8.18 E-liquid for Electronic Cigarettes (100ml) - menthol flavor at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I agree with @bill that this should not be an FT issue. However if it doesn't have a drop of menthol in it, then that was a mistake on their part, but probably not worth the time and effort to correct unless they just send you a new one. @kellycat has a perfect remedy and you can learn to make your own menthol waaaay cheaper than buying form a store.

Also the needle bottles with the goofy rubber tips for the needle are by design and that how you buy them every where for this style bottle that was pictured. The stretched out piece is so you don't lose the tip cap as its microscopic.

Sorry to hear your clearos didn't live up to expectations. I have about 20 evods from fasttech and they work great. But I did experience the same item you did with the lackluster vape, but that was because it came with less than quality atomizers. And to be clear, I bought many different colors fromt hem and it was only a couple of the colors that had the horrible atomizers. The other colors had excellent atomizers. Use the atomizers from the other place and I bet you don't notice a difference. Even if they didn't come with atomizers, $2.65 for a functioning tank is a steal.

As @Truncheon hits the nail on the head that fasttech is great once you learn to use the site and take things with a grain of salt if you are buying non-authentic items at a 90% markdown.

I've never found a mixed menthol juice that I like. They always seem to add Wintergreen or something else that I don't care for.

That's why I DIY, as discussed above. It only takes a minute to add a few drops of menthol to unflavored juice. And it's much cheaper too.
