I don't trust anyone lol I've gotten bad advice from vape store owners so now I take suggestions anyone gives me with a grain of salt.
I've had a vape store owner tell me that Mooch's battery information was dated and didn't really apply these days...

After seeing his video with the MC (dressed for a wrestling match) introducing him, I made it my last.
I first encountered him on VU when the Augvape Merlin was released. His video review was critiqued for his utter lack of knowledge and everything went sideways at that point. He showed up in the thread with his band of followers and was quite vulgar and nasty to the female members, even posting all of roxynoodle's personal information... So I've had zero use for him after that point.

It’s a good thing folks like Shawn are around to be the voice of reason and provide ACCURATE vaping advice. He takes personal preference into account and doesn’t just suggest his favorite mod just because it’s his favorite. I’m forever grateful to Shawn for all of the excellent advice and (dumb) questions he’s answered for me here. You’re awesome, @Shawn Hoefer

I read all opinions and I am happy I followed some advice (opinions) that are ridiculed in this thread...I started using RTA as a newbie and after one month of vaping and two weeks after joining this forum I was making my own DIY juice...thank God I did not know that to do such difficult task requires months if not years of vaping experience... yeah... some things were not easy... making coil was a piece of cake mounting it in Doggy was a challenge but making cheap and tasty juice was as difficult as making tasty coffee... well maybe not as tasty as from Starbucks... but my sense of taste is not very sophisticated... it was damaged by 40 years of smoking.

Big thanks to all those that do give advice that do not always match the question... without them this forum would be less useful and much more boring.:D

Nothing to see here... move along... just a vaper losing his mind... move along... pay no mind to the mini rant...

I'm on several forums, and a member of several Facebook Groups. In watching, reading, and responding to these over the years, I've learned a few things about the nature of the universe.

1. People don't read
2. People can't spell (or can't be bothered to care)
3. People are lemmings

Sounds cynical and negative, right? Consider the following examples taken from actual questions and answers...

Q. "I'm looking for a duel coil top air RTA... what do you suggest."

A. "Peacemaker from squid industries"

Now, the Peacemaker is a fine RTA, I'm sure, but it's a single coil, bottom air RTA. Somehow, the Peacemaker, or the Fatality is always brought up. I don't get it...

Q. "What's the best single 21700 regulated mod right now?"

A. "Get the Aegis Legend"

A dual 18650 is the best single 21700? C'mon...

Q. "I want to get into RTAs. What's a good starter?"

A. "Goon 25!"

Really?

Q. "I'm not a cloud chaser... just want a MTL tank... what's available?"

A. "Falcon... it's the best!"

Sigh...

What have you seen out on the interwebs or in your local B&M that make you say ...?
I agree with your post. i do not care about spelling or punctuation because the nature of social media and texting is to use shortcuts, abbrev., slang. I can say I had a recent post where nobody read it and just responded right away.

There is a tendency for some to show that they are still the smartest kid in the class. First to raise their hand, first to share their vast wisdom even though the answer may thoroughly miss the point.

Most people like me are not accustomed to writing down what is needed to say. I am bad as anyone and my mind drifts a lot during the mind to paper or type in this case. And of course everyone thinks what they use is the best. But I'm with you on this one. I can be reading a review of something or other. And then I see something coming out of left field with someone telling me that I should try dancing lessons at some other site. But there is great news. If you get to uptight you can always do that anxiety relief CBD in your vape juice. Have a great day.

The best vape is the one that gets you off the cigarettes and keeps you off. After vaping for a short period of time without reverting to a cigarette you've studied the market and developed a feeling for what makes the best mod. Then you can enter the Bling department and reconsider the mods that you've always had your eye on.

I considered it a rite of passage to finally hit my 9th month vaping in 2010 without wanting a cigarette. I rewarded myself with a Provari V2. It still works and looks like new, but it has since been replaced with a box full of mods that caught my eye in a weak moment!

It's all good. The justification for new mods is protection from FDA bans. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. If they start up the Gestapo tactics my collection is pretty comprehensive for my vaping style.

I agree with you on this one Dave. It was a great day for me when I got something strong enough to suppress my needs for a cigarette. I vaped for about 3 years before I found a tank and coils that would do that. I don't really know if I'm saving any money. I do make my own juice and build my coils. That's the problem though there is always a new toy, like today I received a Mod holster. So I can go somewhere without emptying my RDTA.
