Bad experience with bestecig

Hello everyone. I have been esmoking for about 8 weeks now and I have to say I love it.I started with a penstyle from puresmoker. Other than the occasional mouthfull of juice I get, it has been a great experience. The after taste I get when smoking a regular cig has become unbarable to me. My biggest problem so far has been getting reliable parts. A few weeks ago when it seemed all of the U.S. suppliers were out of everything, my first 2 atomizers were not smoking like I wanted them to and one battery was starting to die on me. Puresmoker was out of everything and I read a post here about a place in China called bestecig where you could order parts at great prices. So I ordered 2 usb passthroughs, 3 batteries, and 5 atomizers. Cost with shipping was 95.00. Huge mistake. When I got the package, the batteries were all flashing. One was DOA and the other two just don't seem to provide the power needed to produce much vapor. The atomizers worked, but not very well at all. The usb passthroughs were the same. I was so excited after reading how well they worked[I work in front of a computer all day] I ordered two. They both only stay lit for about half a second, producing almost zero vapor. Best ecig told me they check all parts before shipping and I must not be screwing things in properly.
Goodbuy hundred bucks !

So far esmoking is costing me more than regular smoking just because of buying parts that don't work. I guess when the couple of US suppliers that I know carry quality atomizers and batteries have stuff in stock I will order as much as I can get my hands on.

I wish I knew a reliable place to order in bulk from. I would order 5 batteries and 10 atomizers and be set. Paying 15 dollars for a battery and 10 for an atomizer gets expensive, but at least if I order from someone in the US, I know they will stand behind the product.

No tracking number. Just a e-mail stating it was shipped on Feb.7 2009 and a free bottle of juice in honor of the Chinese New Year. I have saved the e-mail. I ordered a e-cig. Maybe I should shoot a E-mail to them.

Maybe your order got lost because of the Chinese New Year. I'd definitely shoot'em an email. BTW, I placed my order Feb 28th and they sent me a tracking # on March 2nd. My package arrived today and all the batteries were blinking. Good to hear the atomizers are a good deal cause I bought 10

I ordered a bunch of stuff from them around Jan 15th, they emailed they would ship after their New Year holliday. Order arrived Feb 5th, no problems. My order totaled around $160. Penstyle 801, extra atomizers, batterys, passthrough, boxes of carts, juice. The batterys blink too, seems like whenever ya bump the battery it'll blink a few times, don't know why, everything works though. Very good penstyle, easy draw lots o vapor, one of my favorites. I was worried about customs seizing it too, but they didn't. Final delivery was by USPS, the carrier took a long time entering something on her computer before she'd hand over my package, I was thinking...uhhh ohhh...but she finally let me sign for it.

You might want to try a USB adaptor plugged into the mains (one which gives 1A (1000mA) output) - some USB ports on computers are not designed to output relatively high power like this on-and-off-and-on over and over again. Also some are constrained to 500mA output maximum. My laptop USB gives poor vapor from the USB - not as bad as you've said but definitely not as good as a fully charged battery. I now have it plugged into the mains with an adaptor and it is fantastic!

Wow, I have had great atomizers from them. They are my favorite. The batteries suck and the usb sucks, but the atomizers are great for dripping. I have not used carts in them, I only drip, try that.

Ha! I am just the opposite. Don't care for their atomizers (they worked well for me but I prefer the 4 holers)....but their batteries are all I have ever used, and I have never had a problem with the usb passthroughs I bought from them either. Go figure!

Haven't need to buy any in a while but I do believe mine flashed a bit too when I got them. Still worked fine though.

Every time I ordered from them, they sent a tracking number when it shipped. I would definitely shoot an email....and they usually answer pretty quickly.

Hmmmm... I placed an order around Feb 14, tracking shows it in perpetual "Foreign Acceptance" since the 17th.

I emailed Beci and was told it had been to long and that it would be dealt with. 2 more days and nothing. Emailed again, Beci told me to wait another day or two and I could either get a refund or reship!
 
I placed an order with them yesterday. They supplied a tracking number within hours, and were very professional in their correspondence. So far, I have tracked the package to the GUANGZHOU facility. The order was for some 801 penstyles and a bunch of spare atomizers, etc. I will toss a note into this thread to say how it turns out.

I can say this though: They respond to questions immediately, and have been very courteous and responsive so far.

Thank everyone placed order and surported me, I rarely speak up at forum through I often come here, because i would like to let all people can give me a fair review. yes, we always kept the good business with every customer, because I still beleive it is the trust us if people can place order from our comapny, i can not sure our products have not any problem, but if they have any problem (but i think it'll few), i always would like to refund or replace to people and the bad products did not be returned to us (as long as the customer tell me our products have something wrong), including "shanelanford" , i had e-mail to tell him, we will refund the money to him, i can not refund the money this two days becasue I'm not come back from Hongkong, and we had refund the full money (inlcuding good products and shipping cost) to "shanelanford"

And to "rejoice ", yes, it's our mistacke, we missed your order, we always ship the order The same day, few order maybe next day. if people have not receive the tracking no. after one or two days, please contact me

As a repeat bestecig customer, I think they have excellent customer service and good product quality. Beci always responds in a timely manner, and stands by the warranty no questions asked. The free e-liquid after the New Year was a cool bonus, too.

edit: also I agree with the poster who said to use a 1000mA main, rather than the computer, to run your USB. It upped the vapor production for me.
